Nice view & pool, but no private area or much shade and too far away to feel the lake vibes

We have stayed in Lenno 6 other times - normally at the Albergo 4 star hotel with a family suite (for less, including breakfast, pool etc) but it was fully booked this time as we made a last minute trip. The location was too far and steep from anywhere we wanted to go so had to drive and find parking which was almost impossible. We arrived to no warm water in the faucets, only sheets on the bed, a book of rules including check out between 8-9:00am. We weren’t able to sleep due to the heat and noise from parties on the lake and simple things like coffee and an iron were missing. I would not recommend this property for families or anyone with mobility issues as there is no elevator and we had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of narrow stairs. They will charge you for towels, toilet paper, having dirty shoes, etc. as stated in their rule book. The staff are very friendly, unless you have feedback about the accommodations. In a very residential local area with watch dogs at most properties except this one- which made it feel unsafe due to no security guard or staff past noon. Leaving a very honest review as I wish I had read the same before booking.

Beautiful room and squeaky clean! Everything was immaculate in the room and we appreciated the basket of essentials- oil, salt, pepper, jam, instant coffee, etc. as well as a bottle of water. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed! We enjoyed having a fan to keep us cool at night. Loved to walk around the surrounding towns. The family was really helpful with suggestions on hiring our own boat to explore the lake.

The pool was pretty cool in early Sept. but kids were still swimming in it. Keep in mind the hotel is on a hill so while you can walk very easily to Lenno, it is a strenuous walk back uphill.

Lovely apartment, fabulous view, friendly, helpful owners. Gorgeous dogs 😍 The pretty village of Lenno is just a 10 minute walk away, where you will find the ferry terminal, numerous lovely bars and restaurants, and more beautiful views! We would definitely look to stay here again

A brilliant holiday. The location is great with plenty to do; the lake, bars and restaraunts are walkable (up and down the hill). The views are stunning and Residence Celeste is kept immaculatley by the lovely family that run it.

Fantastic views and lovely location (a bit of a walk to get to nearest shop or cafe but we didn’t mind). Super nice and friendly owner. Daily recommendations of things to do was much appreciated, further recommendations and tips on request. We enjoyed the swimming pool a lot.

Three out of five beds were very old and uncomfortable. Skylight in bedroom had no curtain, meaning that we got woken up when the sun got up every morning. Very hot in top floor flat. Very noisy garden works at 8am on Saturday morning. Several small lizards /geckos in the bedroom and bathroom inside the flat. Top floor flat only has low level windows, meaning that you have to sit down on the floor to fully be able to look out. Everything is a bit old and dated, but this was in line with expectations

Stunning view from the room & swimming pool. Small scale residence run by a very friendly family. The host gives you suggestions to visit the region. Excellent service for laundry refresh. Well situated to visit the beautiful lake Como ( Villa Charlotta - Bellagio - Mennagio - Milano - Como - Greenway walking trail - Villa Balbaniello - rent a boat ... ) Plenty of good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

We were in the annex appartment. The appartment is clean - plenty of space - but could use a refresh (furniture/beds). No airco ( better for the climat - but hot ). There is always the fresh swimming pool/garden to cool down and the beautiful Como region. Overall we had a very good holiday
