Outside view was lovely & spa was great.
Staff were also brilliant couldn’t do enough for us.
Rooms need a little updating
3.3
I think for the price we paid that it doesn't include the pool as it cost extra 5 pound per adult and 2.50 for a child is not good as the last time we was there it was free not impressed
3.3
Plenty of choice, pleasant staff.
Not being able to use cash for dinner or drinks.
3.3
The rooms and corridors very shabby
3.3
Very good comfortable bed , large car park
Not much
3.3
Breakfast was over priced but cooked fresh to order like the grounds so quiet and peaceful lovely to hear birds singing and rabbits running wild.
Some of the staff need better customer service skills think price of pool n gym should be in price of room or optional when booking.
3.3
over all the hotel was excellant and very helpful and could not have been more accomodating, when my friend was taken to hospital...they kept my room open for me on a day to day basis. Very helpful.
The hotel is undergoing an upgrade so the smell of paint etc although not terrible was obvious, but I am sure could not be helped.
3.3
comfortable bed, lots of room & good leisure area.
When we arrived there were 2 members of staff behind the desk, one of which was quite rude, blunt and looks like he’d rather be anywhere else. Our room had a bad smell and the bathroom was as covered in black mould and thick limescale. We changed rooms and although the room was better, it still wasn’t cleaned properly. We found hairs in the bed, the bed sheets had stains on them and we found other people rubbish down the side of the furniture that hadn’t been cleaned properly.
3.3
Room was comfortable and staff were lovely. Plenty of parking space
For a 4star hotel I would expect a small fridge. More complimentary condiments like a bottle of water and some biscuits to go with tea and coffee. The restaurant was too busy and full of coach party's that get a budget price accommodation when independent travellers pay a top rate 😟
3.3
check in ws quick. Room was smaller than expected as it was an Executive room.
Lack of staff to clear way dirty crocks and cutlery and restock cereal bowls, hot food ,milk and juice. Told they did not have orange juice and the cranberry juice was very very watery.Poor selection of pastries and the only fresh fruit was apples. Nowhere to get a coffee/tea or even water during the day until bar opend.
3.3
Location and room very good. Staff very helpful.
No lift available. We were private paying guests but had to fit in with coach parties for which the hotel were not very organised to deal with. Also the rooms were not cleaned each day. The hotel was evidently understaffed.

We were attending a family wake for my aunt but the only thing we liked was we were staying near family.
Poor welcome, very tired looking hotel, room cleanliness very poor, worst I have stayed in, trouser press in room was dangerous with loose wires, shower head and rail filthy, stains everywhere, ceiling a patchwork of cracks, beside table had large sticky stain on it when we arrived. sign was put up to say maintenance work was being done and asking to bear the smell which could even be smelt in room was like drains. No option to get a drink after 11 and yet the functions were was being served up to twelve on both nights. Breakfast was 8-10 and yet we were down for nine on first morning at which point there was no one to seat us, no clean tables to sit at, we had to sort out ourselves by joining other family at their table. Food poor, dried up, no more fresh food was an option we were told, no fruit juices at all, no bowls for cereal, continental option was also dire. This experience cost us £324 for b&b for two !!!

the bed was comfortable
the bathroom was filthy. the room had a funny smell . it needs updating and the gardens were not the best

We have been regulars here for many years and are disappointed to note that a charge has been introduced to use the leisure facilities for guests staying in the hotel. This changes the feel of staying at this hotel. Sadly I doubt we will choose to stay here again - unless the policy is reversed.

Clean and friendly staff
The restaurant is expensive the steak was £25 for a cheap cut of meat. It took 45 minutes to come, and it was cold and undercooked.
During the night, there were no staff to be found to break up the noisy group who were partying on until 4.30am.
No one was answering reception during the night. Told staff as I was checking out and was told I should have rung the what's app number in the room brochure. In the brochure this number was to only be used to call and arrange functions, it did not say to use out of hours.
3.3
friendly staff and breakfast was ok
the evening meal was awful , I could have cooked better myself and I can’t cook ! and quite expensive for Iceland food
3.3
Check in was easy. Reception kindly fetched a 3 pin plug for usb wires to charge mobiles. Breakfast was as good as the many highly rated hotels I have stayed in travelling with work. We had use of the spa facilities in the morning. The changing rooms and spa facilities were amazingly clean, as was the rest of the hotel.
We were a late arrival (20:30hrs )and missed any order for room service.
3.3
location and facilities were amazing . Room and hotel were very clean . certain staff went above and beyond namely Tina from restaurant who helped us with our mobile phone and Rakesh from leisure centre so very helpful very polite .
nothing

The second time I raised concerns about the temperature of the room, I was moved to a warmer room in the newer part of the hotel free of charge- this room was nice, spacious and warm.
I liked the swimming pool.
The room I was initially allocated was freezing cold and did not warm up. This seems to be an ongoing problem for at least 3 years from the previous reviews. It needs to be addressed urgently. I was offered a second duvet which made it just about bearable. The bathroom had not been cleaned properly - there were pubic hairs on the floor. My room was not cleaned daily. The restaurant is over priced and portions are tiny.

the historic building / helpful staff ( Richard ) on arrival who arranged a ground floor room for my husband at short notice.
The pool and gym facilities were closed throughout our stay and our choice of the Stourport Manor Hotel was to enable visiting family to share these facilities with us. We were not informed of this until we arrived and had paid in full. ( Booked in November )
Although not booked through booking.com the Christmas lunch was extremely disappointing:
poor service / 5 courses were actually 4 / small portions / with parts of the meal missing . These matters were raised immediately after the meal but we have received unsatisfactory resolutions to all these matters - 10% ( £57.90 ) offered towards the meal for which we paid £89 pp a total of £579 ( and accommodation £475 - a total of £1,054 for a very disappointing weekend )

Location was perfect for the event attended. The breakfast was poor. Long wait to be topped up.. some of it served cold. Room was nice. Executive room couldn’t open the windows for fresh air.
That it was a hotel that allowed pets!
3.3
easy to find (lit up from the main road),
nice breakfast and dinner
friendly check in
very tired room - walls dirty
3.3
local for what I needed
there was nothing to dislike
3.3
pool was nice, helpful staff. free bottle of wine at the bar after we complained about our dirty room.
initial room was dirty, cobwebs everywhere and food left in drawers from the last customers, the bed was absolutely tiny and the shower handle was broken. when we called reception we were informed there were no other rooms to move us to unless we downgraded. after unpacking we were informed there was another suite and we were moved. the pool was nice, although small and usage had to be prebooked. The hot tub was out of order. floors were slippery and there were no warning signs.

lovely location
there was a wedding on the day we arrived and on more than one occasion I could not get served at the bar, due to staff being in the wedding bar. staff from the restaurant even went in to the wedding on one occasion ti tell the bar staff how long I’d been stood at the bar. I eventually left and went to my room as there was no point being in the hotel bar. the next morning whilst walking to breakfast with my 13 year old son, 2 of the hotel cleaners, both young girls aged around 18 were in the corridor swearing and laughing about something very loudly. they saw us approach and started laughing even louder that they had been heard, I did tell them maybe swearing in a hotel corridor wasn’t the best thing to be doing.
3.3
The facilities are excellent - tennis courts, squash court, swimming pool and football golf all included.
Interconnecting rooms fab. Comfortable beds.
3.3
The breakfast was very well cooked and presented. Adequate choice available.
There could have been a little more attention to detail in the rooms, I.e. fraying lamp shades, food stain on wall, damage to wall. However, this did not affect the quality of my stay.
3.3
It was very clean and the staff were friendly and polite.
