The bed was very comfortable

Despite the site and the printed menus stating that the restaurant is available on Sundays, it appears that is not the case. We would have stayed elsewhere had we known prior to paying for the stay

The actual hotel was not a problem. Very clean and comfortable. However, the lack of communication between staff members and the availability of facilities really let this place down. When booking and having looked on the website, it states the restaurant/cocktail bar is open every day. This was not the case. It is in fact closed all day on Sunday, something that we were neglected to be informed of. This meant there was no chance of an evening meal at the hotel or a drink at the end of the evening. This would have been fine if the information online told us this prior to arrival. Upon asking on the Sunday about this the staff quite rudely informed us that it had been this way since January and that a private function was happening instead. Staff were awful about it all and honestly ruined the stay.However, all the menus in the bedroom stated food availabile on Sundays. Massive miscommunication with paying guests and in need of updating their advertising if that is the case.

The most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever tried to sleep on. Gave up partway through the night and tried to sleep on the sofa, that was also uncomfortable. Why was there a lock on the outside of the bathroom door? I was unable to access the breakfast buffet as there were steps to it. My husband had to tell me what was available and get it for me. Music too loud at breakfast. Sat at same table as night before and our crumbs were still there.

Room was lovely, very spacious and comfortable. The lift wasn't working, which we were informed about on booking so it wasn't a surprise, but I did appreciate the heads-up.

The corridors and hallways looked a little tired and in need of some attention.

Staff were fantastic.

radiator on full blast in bedroom and could not sleep hotel unable to turn it off but did move us to another room which was not as nice as the room we had paid for but they did their best to accommodate us and check everything was ok .
