The view from our room was awesome, the restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. It was quiet and the perfect place to relax. The dinner menu was great and we really enjoyed the evening meals. Also Ryan made super cocktails. April was welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The choices for breakfast which was included in the price were not up to the standard we expected. However the staff were doing their best.

10/10. The moment we arrived the staff were so welcoming and friendly, I’ve never experienced such a warm welcome at any hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they was always willing to help us out with any questions. All of the staff absolutely made our stay awesome and we will now be back every year! hotel is right on the beach front so awesome relaxing location.

superb location with great beach access, good snorkelling and near other sites/venues. lack of a pool was not an issue because the beach is 10 meters away!

nothing major to dislike - it could use a bit of paint here and there and the satellite TV needs upgrading, but I didn’t come to Rarotonga to watch tv!

the staff are amazing April the resturant manager is an increadable lady, as were all the resturant staff.

there were no paddle boards only Kyakas..... minor detail. The hotel is in a bit of a no mans land so you do need to hire a car.

We love Raro. There was one Aunty (staff) at the motel who made the trip memorable. It wasn't the cruisiest trip as we were travelling with a 2YO, but she went out of her way to make sure we were well catered for. Very much appreciated. Thank you Aunty. The view was AMAZING and the beach was beaut and swimable (no sea slugs around!)

The bed was a little uncomfortable, and when we had booked the restaurant wasn't up and running - which we wernt made aware of, but understandable with the whole covid sitch.

Great spot right on the beach and lovely staff. Recommend having your own transport for some or all of the time, although the bus does stop outside the hotel lobby.

It being beachfront, and practically on the beach. The deluxe suite had a fantastic view of the ocean. That breakfast was included. The facilities on site for lunch, snacks, dinner, drinks & cocktails. The wonderful staff, that were so friendly.

It was all to like really.

Location and beach access

As we have stayed here before, this time I booked a unit on the ground floor with beach access. When we arrived we were given a unit on the first floor. Wasn’t happy as had booked several months in advance. The kitchen facilities in the unit that we were given had no microwave, radio or clock which was listed as being supplied in unit.

Great selection for breakfast. Loved the fresh fruit and sitting on the beach deck to eat. Very stunning. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Great location on one of the best beaches. Wonderful swimming spot.

We were in a first floor room and were disturbed by people above us. However when staff were told that they had been partying until 4am they did speak with them and it didn't happen again.

The breakfast was amazing and the staff were the BEST! Great food and friendly service. Love the location of the hotel perfect view of the beach and amazing snorkeling right in front of the hotel. Totally recommend. I have stayed here twice now :)

The only thing that was a little disruptive was you could hear everything from the next floor up from them walking to dragging furniture across the floor.
