Very convinient location, within walking distance of all the main restaurants and shops. The room has plenty of room, beds are comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful.
Very thin walls, you can hear absolutely everything from both rooms next door. We had trouble to sleep due to the noise - and to be fair our neighbours were not loud, but it was like they were walking inside our room.
It's a good place, but don't recommend if you have medium/light sleep for more than 1 night.

Loved that we could walk everywhere. It was warm and cosy well priced basic accommodation. Would definitely stay again. The double bed electric blanket didn’t work one side and they changed it immediately.
The bathroom was small and maybe an issue for some people. We could hear talking through the connecting room but luckily they went to bed not long after us. Otherwise it was very quiet.

The receptionist/owner was extremely rude.

Great location, short walk to the centre and all attractions. The room had a high ceiling and decor was in line with historic character of the building. The bed was very comfortable. I had a long and restful sleep.The bathroom was a good size.

Pool was great. Aircon and fans in room. Room was fantastic. Loved everything about it. Beautiful motel to stay at.

Brian was great at check in. Mia (Cat) the owner of the property was just beautiful and so friendly.
The beds were not comfortable at all. The bedding could be updated too.

Location good, facilities good.
Tried to check in at 9pm, rang the night bell. A man came out in his dressing gown shouting “what do you want? We’re full!”. I told him we have a reservation, he eventually invited us into reception and this very grumpy gentleman could not understand how we hadn’t received the text he thought he had sent. However, he was probably too sleepy to realise he’d sent it to an incorrect number.
Next time you want a good night sleep I’d suggest you read a phone number properly or get someone else a bit more competent to manage the door. Anyway thanks for the stay!

We arrived during unseasonal cold weather, thus the aircon and electric blankets were much appreciated.
This lovely historic town is a good base to explore the High Country, and our excursions included Bright and Mt Buffalo (where it snowed).
The microwave did not work, but Brian kindly replaced it within a few minutes.
A minor suggestion: a couple of plates are needed that are a bit larger than the tiny saucers provided.

The rooms had some character, and it is close to the town centre, so several cafes were in walking distance for a lovely brekky.
