I honestly can´t think up a single drawback of residence Windsurf. The building is located few metres off main street, which is great - it is quiet there. All the premises were super clean when we arrived. Elvira was very nice and helpful - when we needed a new kitchen towel or missed a peeler in our kitchen, she provided us with it . She was helpful to recommend trips in the neighbouhood. The beach is grassy. It is absolutely delightful ! You don´t come home with tons of sand glued everywhere. We enjoyed paddleboarding a lot. Don´t forget bringing water shoes. Only uncomplicated people seem to be spending holidays in Domaso :o) There is no buzz or noise on the beach, just trouble-free mood. We enjoyed also the bike paths (to Chiavenna and Colico - you can hop on the ferry on the way back home). From Windsurf you can car drive to starting points for a mountain hike. There are two "supermercato" close, there are many pizzerias and cafes. Don´t forget to walk through the narrow tiny streets of an old part of Domaso - enchanting. And also - buy a new purse or hadbag. Be careful with parkometers in towns around Como - the policemen are merciless :o)

It was more studio apartment but it suited my needs as a solo traveller

It was a quiet location on the lake with a great view. The staff was friendly and were quick to respond to messages and accommodate our needs.

Longer travel time since it is further up the lake, but that was not any fault of the property. Our group had a confrontation with neighbors staying in the property as well. Our neighbor was aggressive and came up to my group and i on our way back to the property after breakfast on day 2 of our stay. He threatened to call the police on us for our noise level, even though we weren’t noisy and have children with us. He was using foul language in front of other families and children. He then contacted the landlord who messaged me about the encounter telling us to not make noise after 11pm. This was strange considering the situation was started by our neighbor came up to our group immediately yelling and swearing in front of children in broad daylight. Regardless of our noise level (which again was nothing out of the ordinary for a group of 6 friends vacationing together) there are no “quiet hours listed on the property website or booking.com. The AC frequently went out, but you know, Europe. So we weren’t too upset and the landlord did come to help us try and fix this issue.

Residence Windsurf was beyond our expectations. The place is much better than in the photos. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You can stay here with the dog without a problem. The location is superb - near the lake and restaurants.

Great location, nearby the beach of lake como. Private parking place. Good restaurant across the street. Two supermarkets nearby.

Great location, super friendly staff with opportunities to sit in the garden for breakfast! balcony had loungers which was super relaxed. It’s only a 2-3min walk away from the lake.
