It was beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean, we had a large room with a sea view, the bed was so comfortable, the shower was hot & the room always warm. The breakfasts were large portions although lighter options also available & really tasty. The owners & staff were all so friendly & couldn't be more helpful from the moment we arrived until we left we always felt welcome. The location was good about 100 yards to the beach, it was only a 10 minute stroll to town & about 20 minutes walk to the Electric train & the bus stops were very close . Thoroughly recommend this hotel & would definitely stay here again .

small room. some broken furniture and not enough ( ie: one chair for two people) small single bed feeling uncomfortable and unsafe to sleep on, owner’s attitude, dangerous steep stairs and no lift and cold room as they can not afford gas bills!

It was a little too cool (temperature) and I would have liked a winter duvet, everything else was very good.

I was on a short birdwatching visit to the island so spent little time at the hotel and did not have breakfast there. But the room was fine for my needs, warm, clean, and comfortable.

Outstanding hospitality, very tasty breakfast, very convenient location, comfortable bed.

Freezing cold room due to radiator not working. Moved to another room to be told that the heating is only on at specific times. The room was freezing in the morning and no heating until 5.30 pm. We resorted to walking around and browsing in shops to stay warm. We did get offered a free breakfast for the room change but it didn't make up for the freezing temperatures in the rooms. The pressure in the shower was awful and we didn't feel like we could have a proper shower.

Everything! The location was excellent ( just a minute stroll from the bus that serves the airport), breakfast exceptional ( kept me going all day) and host amazingly friendly :)

Great early check in from an early morning flight. Helpful and friendly, great tips and advice for where to go when and how to get there best. Wonderful breakfast. Great location, quiet and peaceful. Food options just a few doors down.

Gill and Kevin are wonderful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were so comfortable and we had a view of the sea from our room which was a bonus. The breakfast menu is so extensive it was a challenge each day to decide what to have and each meal was superb. We were provided with really useful information about the local area, including nearby restaurants (we went to the Indian a few doors down and had a lovely meal) Thank you Gill, Kevin and your staff for a lovely stay

2 comfy chairs in a double room - but space was limited

Breakfast was absolutely spot on, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, juices thena full breakfast or one of several choices after and cooked to perfection, absolutley no reservations.

I was on the top floor so several flights of stairs to get up, may be an issue for the not so nimble but then I guess they could be on a lower floor.
