The service and staff were great as usual. Breakfast was also good.

I was taking my nieces and nephews with me and unfortunately we weren’t allocated single beds however the staff did find us rooms but it cost extra and was in the smoking part of the hotel. Whilst it was great they helped I think the booking process should have recognised my requirements at the start.

The rooms r very much cleaned. The breakfast quality is excellent. The executive lounge is very nice & have good snack options.

The snack timings for executive lounge is up till 9 PM local time which should be increased to 11 PM.

I stay at Marriott Islamabad every other month for work. Didnt like the new sitting arrangement in the indoor cafe. And I feel the quality has gone down over a couple of years. Washroom amnesties are almost non existant. No lotion available, shampoo and conditioner quality is very poor. But the worst part was the pillows. All the pillows smell bad. The covers are clean but the pillow itself smelled so bad that I had to go get ourselves new pillows just for our stay which was for a weak and it's not the 1st time that they smell bad.

Fantastic staff throughout the hotel. There were plenty of senior management visible throughout the hotel who were engaging and would enquire about your stay and ask if there as anything that could be done to improve my stay. One manager in particular, Mr Sheikh Zubair, who is in charge of housekeeping, dealt with my request regarding a noisy air conditioning unit immediately at 21:30 at night. Great to see such enthusiasm to please a guest at that time of day!

One complaint, however, is the quality of the machines in the gym. Unfortunately, whilst being functional, the touch screens would not work on a couple of pieces of equipment.

islamabad Marriott staff are the worst, they wouldn't pick your call, rather hang up on you!

The food is good, much better than S Hotel

Some of the staff were lacking in common sense. A training gap led several people to hassle my ill, elderly parents after 11pm for a credit card. The Reservations team had already gone home when we checked in, and I didn't have the card I used to book at hand. A helpful staff member told me to just go up to the room and give them the card the next morning. But then they proceeded to call my parents' room multiple times, and knocked on their door twice, hassling them for a credit card. True lack of common sense, and poor communication. This is a 5 star hotel? Other than this, the stay was pleasant. However, overall the rooms here are so overpriced for this market it's laughable.

The hospitality of the staff was beyond anything I have ever experienced. Absolutely amazing!

The location was a little restricted

I booked this room late as an emergency backup while the country was experiencing political unrest. The staff were kind and generous, the hotel is really safe, the rooms clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning excellent. But really, nothing was better than the staff, who were so calm and accommodating, making sure everyone was well cared for.

I wasn't there long enough to find anything to dislike.
