Stayed there before. Cheap and convenient. All usual facilities above average - shower, microwave, bedding etc.
Check-in with no-one at reception. Room key not there. Main room had light bulb blown, no lighting.

Receptionist was amazing, I needed to add another person to stay at last minute and wasn’t charged extra. She was very polite and helpful. Great room, comfy beds, lovely big shower, clean, the kids even had a swim in the pool. Thanks for a great stay and very helpful and willing receptionist.

Clean, spacious and well equipped with the essentials for a traveler.
Trevor, the manager was very kind and accommodating. He allowed us to check in 1 hour earlier on our return from Heron Island.
Wifi was so weak we were not able to connect.

The room was clean
I didn't like I was told to pay more than my booking.com booking was. I only had enough for the price I'd booked, and was told it was extra when I got there. This is not right. The rate you book here should be the rate you are charged. I felt humiliated and embarrassed when I didn't have the extra money they wanted.

This property is within walking distance to the harbour and beautiful parklands surrounding it. Plenty of places to eat out if you like. We stayed here twice as we were going to Heron Island for a few days. You can leave your car while your away free of charge and know it will be safe under cover with security cameras. Rooms are clean and comfortable with fridge, microwave. Electric jug and plates and cutlery. Tea, coffee is provided and detergent and toiletries. Staff were lovely and super helpful.

I booked what I thought was a very cheap motel just as a bed to sleep in overnight before heading off to Heron Island the next morning. While it was an older style motel, it was immaculately clean, had a great new bathroom , a good location close to the ferry, very cheap and the staff were lovely. They even offered that we could leave our car there during our stay at Heron Island.
