Accommodation was poor. Very little space with no air flow. Very dangerous and broken step ladder to reach bed, which is not shown on Booking.com.

The building and the rooms had lots of character. Breakfast was fantastic, all homemade produce and preserves. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was really easy to walk into Mulhouse centre to find somewhere to eat.

The weather was very hot and there is no air-conditioning, but it cooled down during the night with the window open.

Very different from an ordinary hotel and very good experience living in this old house almost a palace. Friendly couple running the hotel which I think is their own home as well. Recommended! Very nice breakfast with guests and hosts together

As soon as you come to the property, you feel immediately at home! The atmosphere is fantastic, the nice renovated mansion is the piece of art by itself, but the owners put a very special intellectual aristocratic charme into the whole house - pictures, photos, small sculptures - everything is at place and you can spend hours observing and admiring. We booked 2 rooms - the family suite and a small double one for our company of 3 adults and 2 kids and we got 3 - to the great joy of our teenager, who had her own room. Parking places are direct at the house, which is very precious in the district with private mansions and parks. Beds are comfortable. In the morning we were warmly welcomed by the owners in the main hall where we were served very nice breakfast with regional tasty products. The owners told us about the origine of the products and we were very excited to try local cheese, bread and jam. Table serving with nice dishes, silver cutlery and candle lights brought us to the atmosphere of exquisite aristocratic times. We were happy to stay in this house

We liked the decorations of the house, the big comfortable rooms, the friendliness of the hosts, and the fantastic breakfast. Also the location is just a few steps away from the central railway station.

Staying in this magnificent house is a delight, as are the owners. Great combination of antique and modern. The breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever had (gained at least 2 kilos), that says a lot because we travel a lot. Nearly everything homemade, healthy and beautifully presented. We certainly will come back to this delightful place.

This is probably a personal thing, but for us the bed was too hard (being older people with not great backs), we normally bring our inflatable mattresses, but we forgot this time. So this is NOT a complaint, but a remark.

Excellent location located close to the center, offers parking and security during the night. The villa is tastefully decorated and offers a very comfortable feeling, as do the hosts, welcoming, attentive and open to answering any questions. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade dishes in tune with the winter period when we stayed.

Unfortunately, I booked at the last minute and the room I chose was a small one. But it compensated with the addition to a very relaxing living room, thus supplementing the reduced space.

We thought that the family room was two rooms connected, and did not realize they were down the hall from one another.

The house is amazing, the host is very nice, the food is home made and delicious.

We enjoyed very much the hosts, their cooking (the homemade jams and gingerbread), the house with the great design furnitures and the cosy bedroom. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us very good advices to enjoy our stay (restaurants, activities...). Thanks to them we had a great trip in Mulhouse area!
