The maintenance of the landscape.
We had a very bad experience. With the expectation of the property which is quite good, but the rooms were absolutely no where near. The slab in the bathroom wash basin fell straight in one of my room mate and got injured. Inspite of our request we have not given the alternate room. The food was quite salty and not as per the standard of the property expectations.. Since the name is Heritage but i really feel that the service level were also maintained keeping the Heritage into consideration... We took the photo of the slab which came down as well..

The property is stunning and offers a bit of peacefulness, away from buzzing Madurai. Fabulous facilities (especially the swimming pool) and front desk was very kind and helpful. Room was clean, very comfortable, with private pool.
The restaurant serves some of the worst tasting Indian food I’ve had in India, at a very expensive rate and restaurant staff was quite rude.

The location was good the property is original and has a good heritage structure.
Dirty not well kept spa smelt of urine pool are not kept clean rooms weren’t clean not well maintained real shame as has huge potential meal times were a bun fight to busy no organisation having spent the last 10 weeks travelling this hotel has the most potential but delivers the least .

Their reluctance to give an early check in even at 9.30 am or 10 am . They should be more guest friendly on this aspect

One of the most beautiful, calm and close to nature place to stay. Highly recommended. The staff and service is really good. If you're looking for a noise-free gateway, this is the place you should stay.

The rooms were spacious and the property large and had a lot of trees to give you a relaxing experience. The design of the rooms gives you the space for a perfect family stay.
The staff are too slow and seems very little training is imparted to give the guest a memorable experience. The rooms need to be maintained a little better for the money they charge. Food needs a big improvement. The taste was a big let down for the food lovers like me who have great respect for Madurai's food.

It is a 17 acre property done the Tamil/Kerala ancient home style - amazingly done!
Room sizes and even bathroom sizes are great! Staff is very cordial and humble. Ganesh was very helpful and so were the people at front-desk. Housekeeping team was also prompt and helpful.
Poosita and Monica were good hosts at the restaurant.

the place was nice, in unbelievable greenery in the middle of a busy city, quiet, facilities were nice, food was tasty, nice massage, most of the staff was very friendly
- was meant to be a luxury resort where women can feel safe and not stared at...I was told it's ok to go to the pool in the bikinis, but then at least 5 Indian men (3 from the staff) were staring at me the whole time while in the pool, I didn't feel comfortable..
- staff at breakfast was very slow, it took them 40 minutes to make scrambled eggs
- overpriced
- rooms had blurry windows so there was no view of the greenery, what a wasted opportunity...

The scenic landscape with abundance of Mother Nature is the USP of this property. The staff was extremely courteous. special thanks to the manager Mr Robin who was very helpful.
The food spread in the restaurant menu should include more local flavours considering the image the property is projecting.
