Room was lovely, compound was beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Staff was also lovely and felt very personal.

Location was difficult to travel through and getting down to the city required a bus that was almost never available to get on.

We found Antico Casale an oasis of calm to return to after the hustle and bustle of Sorrento and Positano. It's perfectly located to visit everything this beautiful part of Italy has to offer and has stunning views over the coastline, where we were treated to the most fabulous sunsets. However what makes this place so special are Salvatore, Mario and their family and staff. Every single one of them were friendly and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. The food is varied and delicious - the majority of which comes from the farm or is sourced locally (they follow Slow Food principles). A great deal of pride, care and effort goes into what arrives on your plate. Breakfast on the upper terrace (with Nonna's home made cakes or pastries) is a great way to start the day. The rooms and common areas were all spotlessly clean and our bed was very comfortable. Wifi very good. If you fancy a quiet day chilling in the sunshine there is access to a very nice pool directly behind the property (extra charge) Thanks again to the Persico family - it was amazing!

Salvatore, Mario and the family were lovely, friendly and helpful hosts. The rooms were large and comfortable and the restaurant served beautiful food and drink. We were well looked after. The location is a 15 minute drive from Sorrento town but the view from the mountains over the bay of Naples is fantastic and it was a little cooler which was more comfortable in the summer heat.

The pool costs extra, our room was a little noisy, and the towels were a little small.

The owner family is very nice, friendly and helpful. The accommodation is a little farm and not a hotel, which makes it special, but you have to like it as we did. The place on top of the hill gives you an amazing view to the bay of Napoli and is perfect to explore the Amalfi coast on one side and Sorrento (which we liked much more than the too crowdy and rip-off Positano) on the other side, but of course you need a car!

The Wlan is not working well everywhere in the room and the breakfast is small and sweet like everywhere in Italy.

The breakfast was exceptional, fresh and tasty. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. We dined in the restaurant twice for dinner and enjoyed their menu. They also made great homemade limoncello! We met some fellow travelers at breakfast and dinner and greatly enjoyed their company. Highly recommended if you prefer a place in the countryside.

All members of the family and staff were welcoming, accommodating, and helpful. They were there for anything we needed including help planning our activities each day. Excellent breakfast and we spent three dinners with them that were all wonderful and gave us an excellent idea of regional cuisine! Comfortable space and a good location set a little bit out of Sorrento, close enough to be a perfect base for exploring anywhere in the area.

Driving in was a little tricky the first time, but after we learned the best way to come and go it was just fine! If you are looking to be in Sorrento, this place is a little out of the main part of town - but that is what we wanted. So that was perfect for our needs! A little noisy outside at times with some neighboring dogs barking, so if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the spot for you.

Our experience at Antico Casale was wonderful. The food was exceptional showcasing their commitment to home produced food - slow food. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful which provided the perfect opportunity for a relaxing break. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The location is superb, overlooking the Bay of Naples, and affords access to both sides of the Amalfi peninsula. We visited whilst Covid-19 restrictions were in place. We felt safe and secure as all necessary regulations were in place and adhered to.

Outstanding view

The view was amazing, Salvatoare and his family were very helpfull.But I was expected to eat products from this farm.The breakfast was the same every single day, the appartment was big and nice with a great view but with an old smell and the towels were white but grey and old.
