The facilities were top notch. The food was excellent as well.
The beach was extremely dirty.

The location
The hotel is very dirty and there are mosquitos everywhere ,the mosquito nets ate so dirty and worn out.
The staff are so slow i kept on trying to ask for room service but no one answered the telephone.

Mooi uitgestrekt parkachtig resort. Prima zwembaden. Uitgebreide gym. Ondanks laagseizoen complete menukaart verkrijgbaar. Eten van hoge kwaliteit.
Sanitair van kamers is gedateerd en schimmelranden. Dekens zitten vieze vlekken in.

nice resort with private beach, but part of beach is polluted with tons of garbage, on other parts of the beach hotel staff is trying their best carting away trash with wheelbarrows; our room was clean and quiet with nice view on the ocean
We waited for our food order in the pool bar (with very loud annoying music) for over 2 hours until we lost patience and decided to go to the restaurant to try our luck to get some lunch, that's when the problems started, iteratively a handfull of service staff showed up, no one seemed caring or competent enough to solve our problem of getting something to eat, eventually they served the food we ordered 3 hours ago; at the evening they knocked at our room door and wanted the check (with wrong items on it) signed), we signed because it was roughly the right amount and we wanted this bad experience to finally end; next morning at breakfast they came again with another additional check apparently with one item they had forgotten to put on the check; at checkout the trouble continued with arguing over the wrong checks; overall, in a premium (and premium priced) resort, one would expect much better handling of problems, it is no problem if something goes wrong, but it was terribly handled.
The room stinked in the morning because of a purification plant near by.
Breakfast was ok, but not what we expected from a hotel like this.

We liked the beach, swimming pool, gym and the room with the space given.
The bathroom looked old, the food was terrible genuine 0/10 even the ice cream was bad. The bed sheets were not smelling very fresh either.

The staff were excellent and the facilities too. Loved the food served in the main restaurant.
The beach wasn't very clean but then we didn't go for the beach. Spent the afternoon by the pool and it was very nice & clean.

As always I find the services at this hotel to be exceptional, with professional staff who are well trained to do their job. It is a very nice setting and relaxing. The rooms are well maintained and clean. Beddings and towels are well cleaned and of high quality. I have been coming here for meetings and leisure over the past 13 years so I am very familiar with the services provided. Keep up the excellent work and services.

White Sands is absolutely fantastic! The rooms were impressive. The whole resort was super clean! The staff were so friendly. The pool areas are just incredible! The water world that residents have access to, just amazing! The resort is by for the best I’ve seen here in Dar. There is the issue of the dirt / seaweed washing onto the beach, but there were teams raking this up in the mornings. The DJ by the pool was great! the shallow pools cater for smaller children - we found it very enjoyable with our 3 year old. it ticked so many boxes for us!

The ocean view was amazing! Wow! We loved how close the ocean was. There's also a fitness, sauna, waterpark, pool table and table tennis. It's a very nice place with a lot of things to do.
Breakfast was beyond amazing. There were so many options... We ate so much because we just couldn't choose. It was very good! The staff and security was also very friendly and helpfull.

Breakfast was nice, the views, pool area.
The room allocated mosquito net was broken, we were moved at midnight, I was tired after a long trip. Room we moved into was not clean, phone not working etc, disgusting. We were then upgraded to an apartment. Question is why weren't all these issues checked before we were given the rooms. The crows, we swam with them in the pool, we had out lunch with them, they stole people's lunch.

The beach and nearby strip is extremely dirty. it would great if the hotel and nearby establishments join forces and clean up the beach. it is within their capacity to do so. it really spoils an otherwise great stay

The iron needs replacing. Room should be sprayed for mosquito's every day.
