It is very suitable for children.

Very slow in the evening when ordering the car, it took about 20 minutes to bring my car.

Not enough staff at the hotel. It was quite a wait to check in. There was no answer on the phone when calling from the bedroom to front desk, housekeeping etc. (on one occasion no answer for 25minutes) Had to take the lift down to reception each time which is very inconvenient. Only one pool attendant working in the entire hotel. We had to take our own towels and put them on the loungers, we expected more for a hotel of this standard. No pool waiters working at all in summer, I had to take my 2 year old up to the bar to order lunch. No Shower gel topped up in the bathroom and again no answer when calling housekeeping so had to go down to reception. Leaking AC vent in the room which actually left my clothes soaking wet (I had hung them on a chair after dinner below the vent). There was a gecko on the bedroom ceiling at night so we had to call pest control. One of the outdoor courtyards was filled with piles of unused outdoor furniture. Not a great view when walking around the hotel. We did have a second reservation to stay here again next month but we have decided to cancel as it will still be summer.

The staff in the hotel are so welcoming, and I appreciate their true professionalism. Since our arrival to the hotel, all the excellent services we have experienced from smooth check-in, free upgrade to premium room and personal concierge services, valet parking, variety of delicious food at Qasar Al Bahar restaurant for breakfast and dinner, house keeping services, amenities provided in swimming pool area, staff with Falcon bird at lobby area and smooth check out after two nights stay are worth noting. It is truly memorable stay for all of us and will remember this royal stay for long time. This hotel became the most preferred in our list now.

Its a mansion for a room! Amazing staff and services. Pool areas are great for families especially with young kids. The entire hotel is equipped with most luxurious settings, details and services. This will be an annual place for our family to go to for sure.

Not many good food options in hotel or vicinity. They could really work on getting food quality better. It was barely average.

Spa is a bit old and not as fancy as the remainder of the hotel facilities. They also did a mistake in our booking but provided a discount to compensate

Location and facilities

I fell down while walking on the pool as one tile was broken and got injured. They got me a doctor on call and needed to pay for that too much money. I asked for an upgrade but they wanted to charge me extra 50% from my original booking which was too much. Do not think will repeat the visit

The ultimate luxury and taking care of very small details make it 6 stars not 5 stars hotel. Staff are so friendly and helpful

The dinner need more variety choices

The cleanliness of the rooms is very poor. The room’s carpets have dirt and stains on them, and the bathrobes are dirty. The balcony is dirty. When I checked in, I asked to change the room for a second room. The employee asked me if I wanted to change the room to pay the difference. I agreed to this request, and when I saw the new room, I did not like it at all and asked to return. To the previous room and all this in less than ten minutes, and after the reservation period has passed, I am surprised that I am obligated to pay for the room upgrade even though I did not upgrade. In addition, there were a lot of insects in the hotel

The resort is exceptional! The room is huge with more sofas and chairs. I love it! It has balcony over viewing the beach and the entire gold course. the facilities are clean and what i like most is that their staffs are really attentive to the guest's needs. I had amazing experience in this hotel and would like to come back soon.

there is problem in the AC though they tried to fixed it but still the problem is still there.

Arrival Check in was so slow and we had to wait long.

I booked two rooms for me and my kids and I requested that by call and by booking chat with the i reached 3 o’clock and they said wait they’re cleaning and i keep waiting until 4:30 i asked them what time the pool will close they said 6pm i told them why then i pay all of this charges for 1 hour ? They are not professional even didn’t over an upgraded room as my rooms are not available sold already and the charges was 15,000 dhs i was disappointing for such 5 star hotel

It's such a beautiful hotel. The rooms, the bathroom, and the whole area are so breathtaking. The property is very well taken care of. The staff are really friendly. There are so many activities to do. Loved the pool, and my daughter enjoyed the adventure pool. Can't wait to go back again. Beach is very clean but not rough. Perfect hotel for a family staycation.

Everything was great. Staff are very welcoming. Beach and pool were great. Room was massive. Breakfast was generous and there’s a good selection of restaurants.

Quite pricey for Ras Al Khaimah; accommodation and f&b. Not sure its best value for money.

Staff are super friendly and wanting to support by any means. Clean rooms, room service doesn’t come short in all aspects, and valet team is efficient. Kids play area is great and staff there are very helpful.

Only negative is the soundproofing. The door between rooms is NOT soundproof and we were unfortunate to have loud neighbors on our last night.

We were at Waldorf last year and everything was perfect. This year the hotel policy has changed and from a luxury place of rest it is slowly turning into a regular, but very expensive hotel. They've opened after a renovation, and the beachside looks great. The rooms have been freshened up as well apparently. But in our first room we faced a problem with hot water - taking a shower was only possible at a boiling hot or an arctic cold temp, there was no in-between. The vanity mirror light in the bathroom was not working either. After multiple complaints the engineer was sent to our room and he said that the the boiler on our floor had been turned off and on and it would take some time for the piping system to work. It didn't. The mirror wasn't fixed either, and we had to change the room. This time the problem with hot water was accompanied by a toilet, that partially peeled off the wall and was dangerous to sit on. In a luxury hotel!! It was fixed quickly though, but we were left unpleasantly surprised. The dinner policy has changed, too. Now there is no buffet, but a 240-aed voucher per person to eat in one of the restaurants on site. So not only you have to go through a daunting process of booking a table in advance (and not always successful, because the restaurant of your choice might be overbooked), but also face a very limited choice of foods, especially when you have, like in our case, specific dietary requirements. We made a request to reception and to Booking.com to refund the rest of our dinners, but for some reason it was rejected. I have big doubts we'll ever return to Waldorf again.

Massive property with full of intricate details inside. One of the best i've been so far. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Amazing Japanese restaurant too Umi totally recommended. One of my unforgettable birthday staycation.

just had 1 unpleasant experience with the front desk member following us to check out on time despite of having late check in as the room wasnt ready when we arrived. Been sorted by another staff at the end.
