No lifts, only stairs

Location was good. We didn’t have breakfast. We asked and they told us just toast and coffee. Was breakfast included in our room cost? It was nice and clean and a large bathroom.

The noise outside our balcony all night. As if there was a truck or machinery going.

Clean and well set out. Very pleasant restaurant contained. Lovely people. Very comfy.

Impossibly complicated series of small procedures for first timers. After that no problems would occur. Soundproofing not so good between units.

Location to the purpose of our visit

No reception. The technology for checking in was confusing and method of interaction changed from email to SMS without advice. Checking in didn't work well. We apparently had two confirmation numbers but hotel was not clear about which was to be used. I rang the contact number but got a machine sating they were very busy and would call me back - with no idea of when that might occur and no surety that they knew who I was. Appallingly there were a number of others trying to check in who had similar trouble. I the end bar staff helped us to get in. The hotel is a 1960s hotel that, in the residential parts, is very similar to what I experienced in the 1970s. Room was small. No information about facilities etc If you want to charge business hotel prices then have a business hotel approach. The "feel" was one of minimising service and services and thereby saving money!! Not good. Won't be back

Lots of space, power plugs and surfaces in the room. The staff off site are very helpful. The location is next to the supermarket and cafes.

Pillows are very high, it gave me neck pain. The parking garage looks dirty with rubbish and gas tanks.

Clean.

Noise. The room given to us has a door inside thats connected to the other room. I can clearly hear people talk and cough from the other side. I specifically asks for a quiet room. There’s no way to heat up food.

The hotel is located near the shops and service station (Coles Shell). The bed is comfy and the room is clean. Loved the restaurant/ pub downstairs. Good value for money. Would stay here again next time we visit Canberra.
