The apartment was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and kitchen well stocked with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware and pans. It was in a good location only a short walk into town with private off road parking. There is also a lovely garden and decking area which would be wonderful in warmer weather. The host is super friendly and helpful. She has thought of everything, lots of local information available and special touches like complementary milk, tea and coffee.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much for them. The kids and I felt at home in the apartment as it had everything we needed. The dog was also very content with the big garden space.

Maybe change the shower head as not enough pressure coming through such a small one. Just a minor thing really.

Brilliant location fantastic host and the most amazing garden

The location was great.

The shower is modern but not great and no shaver point.

Close to the town centre, has a very handy Coop supermarket a couple of minutes walk away, friendly feel due to decoration, and very clean. Everything you could need in the kitchen - nice attention to detail on this front. Suitable for short or longer stays. And the bed size means a great night’s sleep.

Weather

Very comfortable quiet surroundings. Well equipped apartment and spacious. Very good access to Arundel centre and shops. Small supermarket a short walk from the premises. Good parking provision.

It was a pleasure for my wife and I to stay at Portreeves for a couple of nights at the end of November. Joanne (our host) was agreeable to an early check in for our arrival which was greatly appreciated and she was extremely helpful and efficient with her communications about our booking and she gave us a very warm welcome on arrival. The pint of milk in the fridge and a small bowl of chocolates were a nice touch. We had been assigned the front of the two apartments which was very comfortable and well equipped and the central heating worked well which was important given the time of year! There was a table and 2 chairs in the front garden. We could have had access to the back garden, if required. The location is superb as the apartment is a 5 minute walk to the bottom of the High Street with its shops, tea/coffee bars and restaurants etc and similar too, for Arundel station in the other direction.

A minor issue for me - being a gentleman of 6 foot and 16 stone - was the fact that the large towel provided for each of us was not quite big enough for me !

An apartment is comfortable, clean, nicely finished, has all necessary equipment and a big bonus is that it has a lovely outside sitting area.

Central heating cannot be regulated by guests.

Friendly and helpful hosts, pleasant rooms, great location.

Nothing. A colander/sieve and large saucepan would be useful additions to the kitchen.
