Great breakfast

Great hotel, friendly staff and amazing Lake Side Location.

Staff was very kind. wifi was there but I've not used it.

The room was old fashion. I've had a room exactely above the kitchen,

It's a lovely place with nice people/staff. We enjoyed our time there and felt very welcome. Centrally located and close by the lake. The food in the restaurant is tasty - we can recommend to eat there.

It can get a bit noisy.

Very clean, they provided towels, shower gel, water etc., the bed was comfortable, great location, nice staff

the walls and doors probably aren‘t well-insulated since i woke up a couple times at night when someone returned home, used the water in their room etc. There was also no bathroom door, the bathroom was open to the room which didn‘t matter to me as a solo traveller but if I had been travelling with someone else it would have been uncomfortable.

In a great position right on the main square and beside the lake. The food in the restaurant was very good with a nice selection. Friendly staff.

It position has one downside - a bit noisy late into the night and then very early morning on market days as they set up the stalls The pillows could be a better quality ie more supportive

The property was in a great location and the staff was helpful with helping us with the bus transportation.

The room was hot and stuffy as they had no air conditioning. We were able to open the windows, but the noise level/smokers from down below made that difficult.

The location is great next to the lake.

Maybe we were not lucky with the room. It was very small on the third floor with no elevator and no closet in the room. There are bigger ooms in the hotel

they have sent us away very unfriendly because we had a little dog with us

The location was superb as was the breakfast. The room in the highest floor was very charming with an incredible view.

Getting to the highest floor with a heavy suitcase via the starcaise was a bit of a challenge, but worth it in the end.

Size and comfort of room as well as location!

The check-in/check-out procedures! The gentleman at the desk only spoke French which is fine for domestic travelers. Was far from welcoming as he was very preoccupied with serving tables/guests at the in-house restaurant. We had a real early checkout and there was no one around to take care of the formalities. Much against our will, we were compelled to leave the key in the room and follow up with an email and picture saying the need for us to do so! We had a room on the first floor and the noise of weekend partying went on till the wee hours of the morning!! So be prepared if you are looking at getting good, sound sleep!

The cost of the one night does not include breakfast, but you can buy the breakfast from the restaurant downstairs. That was okay. The location was perfect (cafes, restaurants, lake, hiking routes nearby). Short distance (about 7 min walk) to the train station.

Hotel does not have its own car park, but on the other hand there is a big parking area front of the hotel (not guarded) and short distance almost everywhere in the city.

First, the location is amazing! it’s right in the square and just steps from lake Geneva. The views are wonderful. Their restaurant food and service is superb. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Our host Adam was most welcoming, charming and helpful!

Good location, right at the marketplace, few meters from the tourist information office and alimentarium and right next to the photographic museum! Rooms are generally small, specially the bathroom, tiny wash sink, which we didn't really mind and was rather thinking it was cute. Rooms were clean, staffs were helpful but none of them speak very well English. Sometimes we had really problem to understand.

Parking is a problem, hotel can sell you the 17:00 to 12:00 parking ticket, but after 12:00 the parking Du Marche opposite the hotel is for a maximum 3 hours parking. So we have keep moving our during our five days stay. It is tiring.

Restaurant, choices of meal really small and not even good, no appetizer on the menu and no dessert, service slow and unfriendly,, pigeon nest outside of the window, not possible to let fresh air into the room

Hotel is very well located, right by the lake in the city centre.

I reserved and paid for the Superior Double Room with balcony and lake view (higher price than double room) and was assigned to a double room - no balcony, no lake view. We were first assigned to a regular double room with a bed facing the bathroom, which had no door. This was a big surprise to me as there was no chance for any type of privacy in the bathroom. I requested a change of the room to the one with bathroom and a bathroom door. After few trials and visit to other rooms, we were finally given a room (I was told it was a superior double, for which I paid in a first place), but still no balcony and no lake view. There was a big confusion with the rooms as my booking on booking.com and what the hotel staff saw in their system was different. When asked about the confusion and why we were given not what we had booked, the hotel manager responded that this is not his fault, it is booking.com's fault and it is not up to him how the room facilities are described on the booking.com web page. Although the room we were given did not correspond with what I booked, I was not offered any discount or reimbursement. Also next morning, there was a chaos during breakfast: no plates, no cutlery, not much food left one hour after service had started, and it was not to be replenished to serve other guest who came for breakfast later. Definitely not worthy CHF15, especially that I brought my own bread. Having said that, the staff was nice and accommodating and cappuccino tasty.

Enjoyed staff and location.

After using this hotel for over 20 years I have found out that the breakfast was no longer included in the cost of the room. Very disappointing.

Breakfast was good. The owner was really friendly and helpful.

The waiters inside were friendly, but the waiter outside on the terrace was grumpy and very stressed.
