Breakfast at the resort restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Using the kitchen in the suite would have been less expensive.

Shower was very small and the water was better than lukewarm.

Affordable getaway! We had a beach front unit which was perfect in every way.

Everything was perfect, location, sea views, easy access to the pool and beach. Spacious, functional studio apartment which was cleaned every day.

This place is magical....I felt transported to another universe. La Vista Beach Resort far exceeded my expectations and surpassed many hotels that I visited in 1st world countries. From the decor to the views, it was simply marvelous. You have absolutely everything you need in the rooms, plus some. The conditioner and face soap were especially impressive...keeping my hair and skin soft after each use. Me and hubby couldn't get over how fabulous this space was....it was so quiet and private. We always felt safe there as well, which is extremely important to us. We walked to the nearby restaurants and groceries, which were also appreciated because everything was just a walk away. Staff were extremely polite, attentive, communicated well, and helpful for our entire stay. If you're thinking of visiting, please do. You won't regret it.

If you're expecting the other guests to be nice to you and your enjoyment depends on that, then you may have to reevaluate coming here, as other tenants, especially owners, can be quite snobbish. However, we didn't let that damper our fantastic holiday, nor is the hotel at fault for that. That being said, I wish the hotel made it clear that though it's a beachfront property, you couldn't swim comfortably in front of the hotel due to the boulders/rocks. However, we walked approximately 8 minutes to the beach lower down and it was great. Two other minor issues for us were the shower was extremely small and the channels offered for television wasn't great. Other than that, this vacation was the absolute best thanks to LA Vista Beach Resort. We can't wait to return!

The location was great. The staff was great. We liked it all.

We couldn't figure out how to lock the unit from inside. It locked easily with the key from the outside, but we thought the lock didn't work properly since we couldn't lock it from the inside. Someone checked it and told us that it worked. We just never could figure out how. When they checked it for us they actually locked it and we were at the pool without our keys. We didn't know what time it was and were afraid the office might be closed, in which case we would have been in trouble, no phones, no money, no clothes (except bathing suits we were wearing), no shoes. We were relieved when we discovered it was only 4:30 and the office was still open and we were saved. It would have been helpful if someone could have shown us how to lock it and also when they went there and it was unlocked, if they would have left it unlocked rather than assuming we had the keys with us.
