Indeed, absolutely fantastic views over the ocean, Philip Island, and the ghost town of Kingston. Quiet, only the waves roaring below. The comfort level is of a good Australian holiday park, everything is not new but clean and well-maintained. Plenty of walking around: Kingston itself, pier and the beaches, the stunning Flagstaff hill, etc. – just account for the fact that hills are indeed hilly :). Yes, it's a bit far from all the cafes, so you either need a car to drive to Burnt Pine, bring some supplies (the kitchen was fully functional, which was nice) or just walk up the hill for a while (which we enjoyed but might not be for everyone).
The front door didn't have a flyscreen.

The beds & linen were the most comfortable luxurious I’ve ever experienced. The views are outstanding. In fact, probably the best on the Island.

We loved the view of course and the ease of acquiring the hire car. The bbq was awesome to cook up locally bought meat and fish. The unit had everything needed for a week including dishwasher and washing machine. The walk to the historic Kingston area was easy but uphill on the way back so we only did it a couple of times. The tv was great and had enough channels. The wifi was amazing. Although we were told only 2GB it ended up being unlimited for the stay which is definitely a positive! Everything in the apartment was well looked after. They share their bananas too but unfortunately for our stay they were still green. Recycling well organised too. We would definitely stay here again.
The wire bristle cleaning brush for the BBQ needs to go. The little wire bristles come off. If we knew, we would have bought you one without wire and left it for you! We should’ve bought a bottle of tomato sauce too! Maybe next stay!

The view was amazing. A constantly changing panorama. Our unit was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. This property overlooks Kingston Historic Penal Settlement and is a short five minute drive to the township at Burnt Pine.

Absolutely loved this place. Quiet, private. Scenic and close to everything. Staff were so nice as we had our flight cancelled and had to stay 2 extra nights.

The view!!! Best on the island from what we were told and saw. Great staff communication. Apartment very clean and decent size. Easy arrival and handy to have the car waiting for us.
The only downside was that we had issues with internet connectivity dropping out (not due to exceeding data limits), and the oven and grill weren't working. The stove top was fine so this didn't affect us too much. A few of the lights were flickering too. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Islander Lodge , 5 min from town 1 min from Kingston historic area, the view is probably the best on the Island overlooking the Kingston historic are along with Nepean and Phillip Island. You also have the sound of the waves crashing on the reef. Just so good sitting out on on the veranda a little drink and cheese with a view you could not get sick of. The property is spotlessly clean, comfortable including every thing for a self catering holiday including a washing machine and a BBQ! Photo is of Unit 1.

Without adoubt the position is amazing, overlooking Kingston. The apartment had everything we needed, the bed was super comfy and the shower was lovely and hot

I love that all we had to do was step off the plane and Hayley had taken care of everything else, including a smooth transfer from the airport to our unit which had a rental car waiting for us xx
