Clean rooms, polite staff, perfect place to relax, close to Chalkis

The pool was not deep, same depth all along, kids were in both children and “adult” pools and there was not enough space to enjoy the pool. Consequently, the water was disturbingly warm. The beach in front of the hotel was not perfect either. Stony.

The small beach and warm sea are amazing.

A great hotel in the quiet side of Chalkida, just near the sea. The Hotel is calm and quiet, with comfortable rooms, good WIFI and GREAT breakfast which is made just for you upon your request (it is not a big buffet like in other places, just tell them what you want and they'll make it for you). It was too cold for the swimming pool, but it looks great. There are 2-3 Tavernas within a walking distance.

The area is remote and not central, it is a bit far from the city center.

Bathroom was quite small but worse was the pool area: anybody willing to spend 3.5 € could enter so on thursday it was very noisy and crowded with children. Not what you expect from a 4 star resort, especially in Covid times. We settled for a swim in the sea. On Friday,to be fair, it was much quieter.

I loved everything, great pool, spotless rooms, friendly and very helpful staff. I will be back soon.

The pool was nice, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was above average. All in all the hotel was pretty great! There were also some nice restaurants (taverns) in the area.

There was a problem that won't apply in the future but here it goes: There were some floods in the area a week before our visit which rendered all nearby beaches useless. There were sticks and pieces of wood floating in the water. We could not find a beach to swim in. The beach in front of the hotel was better in terms of cleanliness BUT there were some jellyfish which again prevented us from relaxing and swimming in peace. We couldn't risk our 3yo being stung by one... So for the most part we had to stick to the pool, which was a great pool and we were lucky there was a pool in the first place, but it's still not what we hoped for. If I had to comment more generically: Beaches around the area are OK, not great. The beach in front of the Hotel (Agios Minas) is nice and clean but pretty narrow so not much space on a busy day.
