- Great friendly staff and effortless check-in and check-out. - Clean and nice room! - Cooking appliances and a fridge.

- Limited Wi-Fi (for whatever reason many websites don't work and they block VPNs). - Basic toiletries like soap/shampoo are not included. - It's quite far from the city centre (but there's a bus stop nearby).

The appartement

Very quiet place, very good for the stay for few nights. Far away from the city center, BUT very close to the bus stop line C6 (Google maps did not know this line C6 :-( luckily very friendly local people in Nates helped). The information about the key was clearly described by e-mail before my arrival, all worked like in was planned. I did not meet any reception during my stay. Apartment was small, very clean and everything was functional. From furniture there were: a comfortable bed, a small dining table, a desk, two shelves and a wardrobe. There was a small kitchenette with dishes, a water kettle, a filter coffee machine, even few tea bags, sugar and instant coffee :-) There are no restaurants open in the evening, no shops around BUT there was a trailer selling homemade food (pasta, salads, panini, even tiramissu), I am not sure about working hours. There is no chance to buy water or snacks at night or late evening, take it into consideration upon arrival (no automates neither). In the morning and during the day time a cafe and a pizza place are just across the street. The cafe I can recommend, the pizza place I did not have time to visit, but looked nice as well. I am very satisfied with my stay in City Résidence Nantes La Chantrerie.

Be aware that there are no shops around, no chance to buy snacks/drinks late in the evening or night.

althaugh it is not so far from the centre of the city, we lost some time to get to the location because of the traffic jams.
