The place is incredible, it seems that you are in the middle of the jungle. Much peace and tranquility. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing!! And All animals are soooo cute!

Very peaceful location and grounds, hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Nearby there are some lovely walks and snorkling spots.

Location is quite isolated if you dont have a car, not a fault of the Lodge clearly.

The lodge was amazing! The staff were friendly, helpful and offered great advice including helping to sort out a hire car. The accommodation itself is set in a great location not too far from the airport, local supermarket and not far from a couple of nices beaches. The breakfast was awesome, you had a full menu to choose from including a daily special which was delicious. I would 1000% recommend staying here!!!

Lovely place owned by lovely people. Just awesome scenery with a great pool, many plants, trees and animals. Our hut was very spacious, cozy and clean. Loved the shower too. And last but not least, the breakfast was probably among the best I've ever had in any hotel or lodge. All freshly prepared, with a daily changing special and loads of other options, and served by people that were super nice and helpful. I'd really recommend this place to anyone, especially if you've rented a car!

Well, there were many mosquitos, but that's really unavoidable and didn't bother us in the slightest. But still good to keep in mind and prepare for. The bed is equipped with a mosquito net :)

Breakfast was very good with a special surprise every day. The host was very kind and we had several pleasant conversations. This place is a green oasis on the Island. We very much liked to also stay at day time to relax at the pool and in the shadow of the trees.

Our accomodation was close to the road. In the evening and night there was quite some noise from cars. And sometimes at night even terrible noise. Next time we would prefer another accomodation at Mondi Lodge at some distance from the road.

The accommodation was fantastic, we stayed in the blue turtle Bungalow and absolutely loved it. Indeed, we extended our stay for 2 more nights. It‘s a very chilled out place in a beautiful „jungle“ setting with a great vibe, unlike most of the other accomodation options in Curaçao, truly embedded in nature. The many animals made our stay unforgettable (there are donkeys, cats, turtlesdogs, iguanas, hummingbirds, chickens and many more), but especially the friendly cat Charlie stole our hearts. My boyfriend is more of a dog person, but after meeting Charlie, this has completely changed. The breakfast prepared freshly daily is supherb and creative, we even tried to copy their ideas back at home. As I‘ve read in other reviews before, yes, there are many mosquitos but they are everywhere on the islands. So bring some repellent and sleep under the mosquito net and all good :) And yes, bring some ear plugs as well if you want to sleep with the windows open due to the noise of the animals at night, which, however, is totally fine with ear plugs and makes you feel the authenticity of the place even more. The staff around Danita couldn‘t be any friendlier and nicer. We almost missed our flight home as the taxi didn‘t come as ordered, so they drove us last minute to the airport. Danita‘s dad taught us a lot about the place and its vegetation which we are really greatful for. Also, in our personal opinion, one of the best beaches of the island is located just by the accommodation right after the flamingo (!) lake (Kokomo beach). Also worth mentioning, as this was a last minute trip for us, there were basically no more rental cars left, however, the staff at Mondi Lodge made it happen for us. There are all really caring and nice people. The location of Mondi Lodge is also a great starting point for excursions around the island, very conveniently located. We will definitely come back and stay in Mondi Lodge againy.

The reception was great, the place was great, the people were great! It was unforgettable and a true dream to stay here. Definitely also recommendable for young people who want to experience the authentic and green side of Curaçao. There is a nice snèk close by, we recommend going there in the night for a batata saté/galinha and a rum coke. In St. Michiel Boka there is a nice food place (DiVerse Sauzen) which seems to sell Dutch dishes, but they are actually made better the Caribbean way. Oh yes.. breakfast at Mondi Lodge in the morning is also great!

Breakfast was fine, however there was no fresh coffee(machine only).

Unfortunately, we had a visit from a burglar during our stay. This made us feel unsafe, something you absolutely not want during a holiday. This was handled unprofessionally by the owners (they blamed their dog, even though we have not heard any dog noises - only human noises). The property is very poorly secured (only by one small gate at the entrance and just one security camera) and is located next to a poor neighborhood. In addition, the lodges are very noisy due to the thin walls and the large spaces under the doors (you hear the street, people and music all night long). Above that, a lot of insects enter the lodge via the space under the doors. The nuisance of mosquitoes is huge. Their only solution to it was a mosquito net with a hole in it. As for the lodges, they are very humid, so the sheets are permanently damp and there is a permanent musty smell. The photos as presented give a distorted picture. Given the price and the photos we expected a lot more, but it was very disappointing.

The breakfast, staff, location and grounds of the property were amazing! We stayed in the tree house, the outdoor shower is extremely relaxing sitting under the tree. The location is perfect if you want to stay away from overly crowded areas. Centrum supermarket is right down the road and they have everything you will need! Only 10 minutes from the airport! We were very tired after flying 30 hours and immediately felt relief arriving at Mondi Lodge!! Tha animals and plants and creativity put into this resort is inspiring and beautiful, our host family were too also ❤

Exceptional breakfast (a new special every day) and always served with a smile. Great location (situated between Willemstad and West Point). The staff really made our stay!

Nothing to note here, only take the mosquitoes into account when staying here (but this is not something that Mondi Lodge/the staff can prevent).

Where do we start! Staying at Mondi is an exceptional experience. The houses are fully equipped with all you need and more all whilst feeling like you are in the middle of tranquility and nature. This place is truly a special experience. The team is great, always there for you and so friendly and caring. It’s beautiful to be surround by the nature and all the lovely animals (Charlie stole my heart). The breakfasts are the best I’ve ever had ever! Thank you Mondi, you were the highlight of our holiday.

Excellent reception by superbly friendly and helpful staff, good parking space, well maintained pool and property grounds. The lodge is clean, comfortable and spacious. Excellent breakfast.

The mosquitoes, but there's no escape from them on a tropical island. The lodge is provided with mosquito net and windows are covered so that keeps most of them out.

Fantastic breakfast, super nice & helpful staff!

Quite dark inside and many many mosquitos - they made sleep even under the mosquito net around the bed quite hard. We woke up various time every night due to the mosquitos, dog barks, babies in the next house or any other nature noises. The walls are quite thin.

Me and my wife spent 5 great days at Mondi Lodge. You have a little of everything of the island in the property. As soon as you get there you will be at home. The staff is great, surrounded by nature everywhere, good comfort and magnificent breakfasts everyday. The location is ideal to explore the island since you are close enough to Willemstad and your way to take the highway for exploring the western part of Curacao. Love how sustainability is a big part of the goal of the hotel as well as all the animals (Otsu and Dustin will definitely make you company during breakfast)

Overall I enjoyed the experience. However, I can see how for people who doesn't like animals so much might not feel the same way as me. For example, its likely to hear the dogs barking at night, the rooster at one point of the day or be waken up in the morning with the singing of the birds. I love all of that but if you dont, you might want to stick with the typical resort hotels
