The host was very friendly and accommodating I trying to set up boat trip and assist in finding a lost cell phone.

Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast hostess was charming. The location across from the beach is great. The train station is right across the street, too, if you don't have a car. Parking for our car was easy, just a few steps around the corner.

A number of serious issues all added up to a completely miserable night - so miserable that we walked away from 400 Euros to change locations. A fan should already be in the room when you check in! This is a hotel with no AC. A fan is a "no brainer". The host is not available after 8 pm so when we returned in the late evening and realized how suffocatingly hot it was in our room it was too late to ask for a fan. We opened the balcony doors for some air, thinking we would use the giant mosquito net suspended in a knot above the bed, but when we untangled and lowered the net it overwhelmed us with the smell of dust! It must not have been washed or shaken in a long time. The only blanket available to keep the mosquitos off us was a hot duvet style blanket. Why, - in a room with no AC? We desperately needed only a sheet to keep them off but there was none. The bathroom smelled terrible in the morning after being closed up all night. I think the cleaner did not disinfect the toilet brush and holder before we arrived and the heat incubated a pool of stinky water.

The hosts were friendly very helpful. The location is directly opposite the beach, and right near a train and bus stop, so very convenient for getting around. I wish I stayed longer!

I loved feeling welcome and at home immediately, like staying with friends. Plus my room was huge with a lovely balcony to just spend time

Though I adored being so close to the beach, it did come at price of being a journey away from a choice of places to eat & places to explore.

Quiet and super close to the beach, clean, super friendly staff, great pool and breakfast. I would highly recommend it!

It would be nice to have a mirror in the room. Other than that, no complaints!

All the staff were really lovely and helpful. Ernst recommended and booked us a nice restaurant for the evening. Breakfast was excellent and served in a lovely garden. The location was perfect for us as we wanted something just outside Lagos with parking nearby, and it was nice being on the beachfront.

The only thing that could have been improved is if there had been a bracket for the shower head - a very minor complaint!
