We loved this place. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment.It felt like we were the only ones on the whole beach despite there being a family with young kids staying in the apartment next door. The bed was comfortable, there is a kitchen and small indoor living area. There is also an outdoor covered living area with table and bbq and then there is the uncovered deck which was right on the water. There are 2 sun lounges on the deck where we spent most of our time reading and enjoying the view and sound of the ocean lapping at the Shoreline in between swimming in the lagoon. There are kayaks and SUPs which are shared between the villas to explore the crystal clear waters of the lagoon. There is a small convenience store directly across the road stocking basic food and drinks. Rei the lady who runs it is lovely. A larger grocery store, a few restaurants and Cafe are within 5 to 10 minute walk. If you like pizza try the South side pizza which is open Friday and Saturday nights. There are 2 buses which run hourly that circle the island. 1 runs clockwise, the other anticlockwise. There are no bus stops, you just flag the driver down. They will pick you up right outside the front of the property. If you get the Transport Me app and search Cook's Island Bus Passenger Transport you get live tracking of where each bus is. It is an easy 5 minute walk along the beach to the reef pass where you can snorkel with turtles. We went with Turtles Rarotonga from Blazey's. These guys were excellent. They only take small groups(5 maximum) with an extremely experienced guide Bobo. We actually had a private group with just the 2 of us. This place is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

There was very little we didn't like. It isn't a super moden apartment, but is clean and comfortable. There is a spare block next door and 1 day the guy came to do the lawns. He used a whipper snipper instead of a lawn mower which would have taken a 1/4 of the time and then used a blower to collect the clippings. He was there making noise for over 3 hours which kind of ruined our serenity for a while. Apart from that this place was perfect for us. It's not the place to be if you like hustle and bustle. We weren't overly impressed with most of the food we had so next time we will do a lot of our own cooking.

I absolutely loved the location amazing views very private up on the deck not many people go by and only a few steps to the beach below. We could watch the kids play in the water and seen a few whales just amazing.

My only disappointment when we arrived I had booked the 2 bedroom house when we got there late at night the 2 bedroom house more like 2 1 bedroom apartments. There was a separate 1 bedroom room downstairs with own bathroom i must say this was a bit musty as well. Up stairs which you access from under the carport outside there was another bedroom with another bathroom and washing machine which was so handy. As we had younger children first night I slept upstairs with 1 child and husband was down with 2 other boys. This place would be amazing if you had older children you don't mind being away from or if it was 2 couples this would work so well but for a younger family book the 5 bedroom house. I spoke with owner and we just put mattress up stairs so worked out fine but just want other family's to know .

Great location. Right on lagoon, swimming posible all day. Reef fish, great supermarket handy. Good beds.

Kitchen utensils need a look for cooking at home, which we did most nights.

There were gaps in both outside doors (the doors did not meet on closure) that let a constant draught in. The locks on the door handles were also very poor and you had to be careful you didn't lock yourself out. The oven was rusty and unusable.
