Good for a family of four. Was quiet despite being on main road. It was adequate for our couple of nights stay.

Our stay was surprisingly better than expected. Beds very comfy and warm and rooms were clean. The compendium of local eateries and attractions was also helpful. Check in by lock box is super convenient. The kitchen was also well fitted out.
Bathroom got a little slippery when wet with the open shower design (especially when sharing between 5 people).

The gas heater is a bit noisy. Reverse cycle would be better. However middle of winter didn't need it on at night as cabin is very well insulated. So this is a minor point as beds also have electric blankets but again not needed.

Strahan Bungalows were very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. The outside area was good for a drink or morning coffee. The location was a 15 minute walk to the harbour area and a 10 minute walk to the supermarket.
The apartment was advertised as having Wi-Fi in all areas, however, I had the furthest apartment from the modem and I was unable to connect to the Wi-Fi inside the apartment and had only occasional connection outside on the verandah. If Wi-Fi is a must for you I would hesitate to book these apartments or at the very least ask for an apartment close to the modem.

Nice modern, clean apartment in a good location, not far from waterfront etc. We only stayed one night - as we had a tight schedule. Easy parking in front of apartment,
We had a problem with the heater, but as it wasn't particularly cold - it was not a big issue. Main bedroom bed is comfortable, but could be a bit better. Would be happy to stay again.
