The location appears to be a bit suburban however, it is a great location for access to petrol stations and supermarkets which were very important to us. Also lots of nice little extras like cheese and crackers and mini kit kats for free with coffee and tea and bottles of soft drink and other drinks in the fridge for very reasonable prices. So everything you might need for an overnight trip (like us) was there including a heater on for arrival as it had been very cold. It was one of the nicest places we stayed through our 3 week trip of NZ. Also very easy parking.

Friendly host very clean and well presented. Fitted with every thing you need EXCEPT a COOK TOP OR STOVE we still enjoyed our stay but would not stay again Only because there are no cooking facilities except a microwave

Said it had a KITCHEN BUT DIDN'T SAY IT HAD NO STOVE OR HOT PLATE. BE WARNED we brought 2 nights food with us and had to waste half of it

It was a hidden gem so clean comfortable & cosy. The town of Alexandra was an unexpected surprise too.

A lovely place to stay with everything we needed.

Super comfortable and very convenient. Set up beautifully with everything we needed, all the facilities you would expect and some lovely touches. Arriving to have the air con on and the room cool was just lovely! The verandah was perfect - cool and shaded and a lovely place to sit. The key was ready for us on arrival, the place was easy to find and it was delightfully peaceful. The decor was new and clean and smart, with particularly lovely carpet!

It was all lovely.

Super big super comfy bed. Had the best night's sleep. Lots of extra little unexpected touches. Hosts had thought of everything to make the stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Everything was great and so much thought had been taken to make sure you were comfortable and had everything necessary.
