Lieu magnifique et très calme. Le personnel est aux petits soins pour ses clients, on s'est senties comme à la maison ! Idéal pour se ressourcer dans la campagne portugaise.

People that has such passion for their job and have a great place like this, deserve to have success and be happy. The history of this place and the amount of different fruit trees, herbs, etc, deserve a visit.

Very peaceful place with beautiful grounds and communal areas. Rooftop jacuzzi was lovely. Wonderful breakfast.
Needed a better lit bathroom as it was hard to get ready for a wedding with minimal lighting to do make up. Full length mirror would also be a nice touch but there was one downstairs.

The staff were friendly and gave lots of information about the property.
The location was superb.
At breakfast it was concentrated orange juice, not fresh orange juice, which didn't match with the attention to using fresh plants for other drinks.

My check in was very easy and pleasant. The breafast was delicious. I truly enjoyed the personal tour og this historic site. I plan to visit again probably in the fall.

The room was very comfortable with a little terrace. There's some outdoor area where you can sit around. I usually don't sit outside but they have given us some nice snacks to sit around with. We've enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
There isn't anything. Maybe the insulation of the rooms can be improved because we had a snoring neighbour.

Everything was really special; it probably helped that we were the only guests. Fernando the owner could not have been kinder; he showed us around the 10 acre property with wonderful trees plants and shrubs including a veritable ‘total herb garden’. Delicious home made jams for breakfast eaten above the water mill with frogs, dragonflies and water boatmen keeping us company. Spotless bedroom with all mod cons, comfy bed, copious hot water and private terrace. Superb value for money and well worth a few days of total calm and relaxation. Hope to return soon. Free Wi-Fi excellent also.
