The location of this hotel has to be the best for tourists like us among all five-star hotels in Athens, safe, convenient, close to everything and only a few steps to the Acropolis entrance and museum. So if you are visiting the Acropolis, this is the best place to stay. There is a michelin star restaurant at the top floor and we had a wonderful breakfast there with a breathtaking view of the Acropolis. We stayed in room 101 and it was big enough to fit an extra rollaway bed. Big thanks to the friendly and helpful staff who patiently accommodated our many requests, from airport transfers, room change, to late checkout. We even changed our time of airport transfer at least three times. Very professional.

The location of this hotel is great, right where you want to be in Athens and VERY close to the Acropolis. The staff is wonderful, the food served at the hotel was great and the room amenities were awesome. We did eat at the restaurant a couple times and the food was amazing and of course the view of the Acropolis is out of this world.
The only thing I would complain about was that we paid around $500 to upgrade our room and where we were at, we had a view of the street, which was fine but it was noisy 24/7. I expected maybe sound proof glass or something but it was noisy all night and woke us up several times. Nothing that would prevent me from staying there in the future but if you're a light sleeper, request a room not over the street.

An absolutely stunning location, 2 mins walk to the acropolis and the metro station and a quick walk to so many other sights in Athens. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, and the room was so stunning!

Noisy work was carried out 04.01.23. Every day from 8-00 in the morning, the perforator was noisy. These works were carried out at the hotel. The attitude towards the guests on this day is terrible.

Outstanding staff who were consistently helpful, efficient,and welcoming. They assisted us in navigating Athens with ease. The location of the hotel at the foot of the Acropolis
is ideal for exploring Athens on foot. The restaurant at the top of the hotel where a delicious and varied breakfast is served has stunning views of the Acropolis and the opportunity of open air seating. Our room was comfortable and well organized and appointed. On any future trip to Athens this hotel would be our first choice of a place to stay. Many thanks to the staff of Athens Was for a memorable visit!
