Nice lobby

Slower elevators will be impossible to find elsewhere in the world, for a moment we thought we were going up 100+ floors as it took us more than a minute to go up or down a couple of floors. Jacuzzi with cold water doesn’t feel jacuzzi, we even asked if it was working before our reservation and they confirmed it was and even after asking several times it never worked

Pretty much the only thing that was not problematic was the food - both the restaurant and the morning buffet are very nice.

Where to start... The check-in took about 45 minutes for our group of 6 people because they ask you to sign a bunch of different forms and contracts and it's not entirely clear why. The first room we got was full of cockroaches - we have travelled to so many places in Colombia and this one was the first one where that happened. The staff did change our room very quickly and the next one was fine (although it had a strange hole in the floor) but the distaste remained. Then the staff mixed up our dinner bills and it was a hassle to communicate with them on anything at all, be it in English or Spanish. I had a feeling that most of them had just started working and did not know what to do. At 5:45am a fire alarm got off on our floor, also unclear why because nothing was happening. Finally we had to take our luggage down through a creepy staircase because their lifts are not working very well. Overall, I was shocked that what I thought would be the best hotel during our trip ended up being by far the worst. I think the potential is there but clearly from the management point of view there's some serious issues to be addressed.

I have very good memories of the hotel, it was actually wonderful, I hope to continue adding more nights with Hampton By Hilton.

It would be nice to be able to decide how much water flow you want in the shower, because if you want warm water, the flow is very high. The lighting system should be independent and not directly under the face of people when sleeping. On the other hand, it would be fantastic if there was a direct connection from the elevator exit to the parking lot because it could be raining and that is not good for anyone.

Breakfast is way below expectations, issues such as cold coffee, bad/old quality bread, fruit quality, no jams nor honey, poor quality only choice cheese, no orange juice, uncooked arepas with no taste. In the room, a duvet with a 20 cms stain.

Everything ok, maybe maintain the meals warm in the breakfast service.

We asked for salad and the waitress fotgot.

The staff was really nice.

You cannot open the window so there’s no natural ventilation and breakfast could be improved.
