This hotel is amazing I was blown away by it's style & sophistication! The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice & hot food on request cooked by our beautiful host!

Nijmegen was wonderful in itself, but I'd go back just to stay in the Hotel Straelman. This place was easily the highlight of the trip. Breakfast in the garden was superb. An ideal boutique hotel that has made me decide to look at staying in more boutique hotels over disappointing airbnbs on this trip. I can't give enough praise to the staff, to the best breakfast I've had on a stay EVER, and to this charming place. The bed and room was comfortable. You can sit in the garden if you want to get outside of your room (and it is a beautiful spot!) Convenient location for walking to the city center, including many great restaurants. It's a compact but with plenty of shopping and walking enjoyment.

Everything was perfect; guests should know there are some stairs that are tight, but we found that is normal in any stay in the Netherlands.

The wifi was spotty for a while

The boutique was centrally located and my husband and I were able to easily us it as a start point for our bike rides. The staff was exception and aided us, with a map they provided, to all the areas of interest around us. The breakfast was fantastic and made to order. We will definitely return during our next visit to Nijmegen.

A lovely room with great amenities and comfortable bed, very friendly welcome from the owner, delicious breakfast, great location close to the city center and bus routes.

Nothing, but note that people with mobility issues may have problems with the steep stairs.

Such a warm welcome upon arriving. It had the feel of a B&B but with a comfy ensuite room and aircon and a balcony. Very dark during the night. Great bed and shower. Lovely breakfast with lovely host who really looked after her guests.

The location of this hotel is very close to the centre which was great (about a 5-7 min walk). The host & Manager of the hotel (Tanja) was exceptional, incredibly friendly and helpful. The room (truffel) was really nice as well and it was pleasant having a balcony for this room. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you for having us.

For us personally, the bathroom wasn't ideal. The shower is nice, it's good quality and well designed, but the feature of having a sliding door and no real way of closing off the space wasn't ideal. This doesn't take away anything from the quality aspect, just personally think a door separation would be nicer (and more private/quiet) than a sliding door.
