The hostess Stafania is a wonderful person! She has thought of everything in the room, even the most smallest details. The breakfast was very good, there was everything you need and even much more (this is a B&B, not a 4-star hotel). Fresh brioches, boiled eggs, two sorts of ham (even prosciutto), cheese, salami, yoghurt, cereals, corn flakes, good coffee etc. The bed was very comfy, much better than the bed in 3-star hotel in Rome where we spent two nights before this visit. Here I slept like a baby. Most wonderful thing to see was how Stefania has put her whole heart to this business. You could sense it everywhere.

Booking.com text promised a view, but all we could see were houses on the other side of the street. This was the last free room in the hotel and it was in the "attick" and the window itself was small. We booked the hotel 30 minutes before we arrived, so this is understandable - perhaps the other rooms had a view. Still the visit is remindable and we recommend this b&b by heart.

Parking

location is inside the town walls, with traffic limited to only resident but giving the license plate ahead would allow to get registered for the ZTL access.

Nice and helpful landlady. Room standards are ok. Right into the old town, 100 m away from all bars and restaurants, but still a quiet block. Anyway I just spent a few hours, so don't take my review too seriously.

No sound proofing. You can hear the other guests upstairs. Breakfast consists of average quality processed food wrapped in plastic, except for a piece of homemade cake. Mark that you're not allowed to drive up to the building, since it's located inside the restricted city walls. This should be highlighted in the site description.

Everything is over your expectations: from the availability of the owner to the breakfast.

Great value for money and in the perfect location for walking into the centre. The b&b is just inside the walls and there is free parking close by. I booked based on excellent reviews which I agree with. Stefania is very very kind and helpful. She told me where to park and was there to welcome me. She gave me a larger room than I had booked because it was available which was lovely. Although the room isn't luxurious, the family have taken the time to make it cosy and colour coordinated, which you often don't get in Italy! The bed was incredibly comfortable and there are shutters on the windows so I slept very well. Stefania left lots of snacks in the room and there was a coffee machine and milk in the fridge. A sweet breakfast was left outside of the door in the morning, which was plentiful. 3 slices of cake and some strawberries. I am very glad I chose this place and would happily come back. Grazie mille Stefania, sei molto gentile.

Super friendly staff, excellent location and a good breakfest served to the room. Best b&b we have ever stayed in Italy.

We loved staying here. We came for the history but were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. Tarquinia was a wonderful walled city with so much history. Met a great couple from Australia and learned so much about the area. Definitely worth the stop!

Had a bit of trouble finding the place but very good (free!!) parking close to the B&B. The museum and tombs were so interesting and the town was very charming. More great mussels for dinner. I love ItalyQ!
