This apartment has everything one needs for everyday. It’s located in the middle of Porto’s historical center, everything is within short walking distance.

If one comes with car, there is ongoing underground construction nearby and the area is jammed.

We LOVED our stay here! We stayed 4 nights in the deluxe suite and 1 night in a different suite. It was phenomenal. The appartments are modern, spacious, luxurious and have all of the amenities you’d need for a perfect stay - a great view, lovely decor, full laundry and kitchen, super large living spaces. Fernando and his family are lovely, helpful, kind people. It was our honeymoon so they left us a bottle of campaign and some fresh cookies in the fridge. Fernando also gave us some great recommendations of where to go and what to do. Would recommend booking this now! It’s better than you could ever anticipate!!

The apartment is really Nice, Clean and close to the main relevant location.

Modern, comfortable, very well equipped, very convenient central location, good accessibility. Because the appartment is inside a "gated quarter" and there is security patrolling, one doesn't feel insecure at night even though it's in the middle of (party-) old town.

Because of the accomodation being so downtown - the living room and kitchen open to "Rua das Flores", THE main shopping pedestrian street - there is little privacy when on the balcony, 1st floor, or if shades are open (these are good though and very sound proof), opposite appartments can look in. Also, very important, the sound proofing cannot shield you from all street noise, when partygoers loudly pass by middle of the night you will certainly hear it. And there was (and probably will be some time) an utility construction site right below the bedroom. Not ok, warning if you are sensitive to noise. If not, go for it!

Good location Friendly welcome

The appartment is very nice, clean and spacious. The host, Fernando, very pleasant and helpful.

Extremely noisy neighbourhood. Numerous street musicians playing right outside every night make it very difficult to get rest. Drunk people shouting in the middel of the night. Almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep - especially if you have children who need to go to bed before midnight. A pity, because besides that we liked the place.

This was a spacious apartment in the heart of the historic part of the city, lots of shops, markets, restaurants just outside the building. It is a crowded street but the noise didn't bother us, on the contrary there was a musician standing at the corner across the street playing violin every night, we loved it. Fernando is a great host and he made his best to make us feel at home. The house was super clean. There are all kind of utilities including a washing machine, it was very handy to be able to wash our clothes. Very safe neighborhood. We walked everywhere easily, and the train station is just around the corner.

There is a construction work in front of the building which creates an ugliness but it is almost everywhere in the city so I think we were just unlucky to be there at this time. However it was not very noisy.

Very spacious, lots of room to relax. The bedroom had a huge wardrobe area with mirror next to the bathroom! Was very handy whilst us girls were getting ready! The kitchen was very modern and had all we needed. We also had lovely views from the windows. The location is very central, the train station was 2 minutes from us. We really loved our stay here and had a fantastic holiday in Porto! Highly recommend this place!

Wow what a beautiful apartment. Very high end reno and a delight to stay in. Loved the balcony’s from all rooms. Great bedroom and kids had one double sofa bed and a single sofa bed. Loved the laundry and being able to do some washing! Super location - literally a step away from everything Porto has to offer. Fernando was a great host and quick to answer all our questions. The complementary local vino left in the kitchen was a lovely gesture. He went above and beyond to help us - unfortunately there is a tremendous amount of construction happening everywhere in Porto due to the Metro… roads/access is getting changed so frequently it’s hard to keep up. We had a terrible time trying to find the apartment and the carpark, but Fernando came to our assistance and hopped into our car to help guide us!!! Thanks goodness as we would never have found it!!! The car park was literally next door and easy to park in.

Nothing - it was lovely and we wish we stayed longer. Shame about the construction literally out the front but they do start later at 8.30am and finish by 4pm. But that’s everywhere in Porto currently!

Porto with History is an excellent location right in the heart if everything.

The apartment was beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. It is even nicer than the photos show. The owner was really helpful in welcoming us and giving us some local recommendations of sights/activities.

Unfortunately the drawback of this apartment is that there is significant construction work happening outside (they are building a new metro stop) - this impacts both the view from the balcony and there is a lot of noise every day except Sunday. It might mean you get woken up early by the noise but as long as you are out all day exploring it probably won't affect you too much.

The location was perfect, downstairs was best restaurants, ice cream shops, souvenir shopping, everything. Close walk to Sao Bento station and only 17-18 mins across to the Porto Wineries. Facilities were fantastic, wish we had more time in Porto. Pictures of property do not do justice - much nicer.

We loved our stay at this apartment. The location close to the Sao Bento Station and overlooking the vibrant and traffic-free Rua das Flores is central and walkable to places of interest in Porto (including up and down a few steepish hills). It is light and spacious and presented to a very high standard and we found it to be very comfortable and well appointed. Being so close to a busy street there is inevitably some noise, including during the early morning hours which may impact on light sleepers. Communication with the owners was excellent, including helping us find the apartment on our arrival and giving lots of tips and advise on making the most of our stay in Porto. This is a lively area and there are many cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk, and a small neighbourhood supermarket 100 metres away. The historic and scenic Porto city centre sloping down to the banks of the Douro River is stunning and worthy of its UNESCO heritage status. The Porto with History Apartment is the ideal place to discover all that the city has to offer.

Perfect location, spotless, spacious beautiful apartment. Fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Parking a few meters from the apartment. Antonia waited for our late arrival, with very helpful tips about Porto and a delicious bottle of wine. Communication with Fernando was very effective.

location couldn’t have been better. we were able to walk to all the sights that were important to us. Fernando is an exceptional host. lots of restaurants within an easy walk. Arrived at the Sao Bento station from Lisbon and found Porto with History without much difficulty.

The location is central, near to the Sao Bento metro station, railway station and bus 500 station, super central in Porto.The appartment is beautiful, chic, very well equipped with all things that you could need. The kitchen includes a lot of useful cutlery, plates, mugs, glasses, washing machine, dishwasher, espresso machine, electric mug, microwave oven, classic oven, stove, toaster, etc. The bedroom is very comfortable, the quilts and mattresses are ok. The living room is inviting, with a dining area and a relaxation area with a sofa and TV. There are two air heaters available to increase thermal comfort during the night, although there is underfloor heating. The host Fernando is very kind, he waited for me even if I was a little late and showed me useful details on the map. I definitely recommend this location, it really worths!
