It was so wonderful! I had been to Rome, Florence and Venice and the breakfast here was THE BEST of all.

It was PERFECT I would not change a thing!

Rooms where beautiful. The furnishings and the beds where lovely.

Staff where shocking two females who could clearly see we had two younge children made us feel as though our children should be silent at all times. My little boy wakes up roaring pretending to be a dinosaur most mornings, one of the staff members made a face like she had never seen a child making noise! I can't believe how stuck up these people where. Breakfast we had to ask for eggs as our children like eggs in the morning. This seemed to be a chore for them. Would not stay here ever again. Also light comes into the room. The noise was absurd that came from the bar opposite was like being next to a night club. WiFi also did not work.

The location is impossible to access by car and parking if you arrive in the evening it is very, very difficult to find a parking space. It took us longer to find a park than drive from FCO. The advice given before arrival is nil. And be aware this is a typical old town, central apartment, beautiful inside but noisy at night (you must keep the windows closed and air con running all night to cut out the noise.

Decor, Bed, linens were absoloutly exuisite.

Interior design was a wonderful combination of classical, chic, and beautiful. Every room has ceilings at least 5-6m high. Feeling of being in a palace. The selection for breakfast was vast. You can press your own orange juice on a high tech presser that takes seconds. There's a juicer with all kinds of fruits and vegetables to choose from. Home made jams that are OUT OF THIS WORLD good. The breakfast hall itself with long table and elegant cutlery was like dining in a palace built for royalty. The service every morning for coffee/scrambled eggs/whatever was very attentive. The view from the room out over the piazza was amazing and breathtaking. Could sit there for hours just people watching or viewing the hundreds of years old buildings' architectural designs.

If I ABSOLUTELY had to pick something negative the wifi was spotty in certain parts of the room but let's be honest - you aren't staying here to sit on on your phone 😉
