Thank you for a great stay! Family room was perfect. Choice for breakfast was great and staff were so friendly and helpful. Grounds are beautiful. Loved the outside gym! Exceeded our expectations.

Only one comment for improvement was that the shower wasn’t very powerful.

The room next to ours didn't have an ensuite bathroom so had to use the bathroom next to our room. This meant that throughout the night there was the opening and closing of their room door followed by the opening and closing of their bathroom door, then the same in reverse. There wasn't a safe walking route into Henley and a taxi was very expensive for the distance travelled. Disappointing as some of the reviews mentioned a nice walk into Henley.

The peaceful property

Expected to have dinner & bar open, but would close at 8pm maximum so had to drive into town each night

Overall the location and breakfast were good

We stayed in a ground floor room and could hear the people talking late at night in the next room as the walls were so thin. This meant we had a very poor night’s sleep which spoilt our visit. The neighbours were not being noisy although it was late but the sound easily carried and we did not expect this and were disappointed as the room cost £180 for the night.

The setting is ideally located to walk into Henley-on-Thames and the grounds were nice. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of choice.

The room was lovely. The breakfast was delicious especially the hot pain au raisin and pain au chocolat!! The staff were very friendly too.

The location was a bit hard to find when it was dark but we got there in the end! Also, it was a shame food wasn't available in the evenings as we really didn't want to go back out in the foggy dark again!

stunning location

flood lights outside the property were on all night, which was quite a nuisance as caused the room to be bright in the night. the emergency lighting system in the room also caused unnecessary light at night. would strongly suggest the hotel consider changing their outdoor lighting system to automatically come on with movement and not on permanently. it will also save on their energy costs.

The location is ideal for Henley. The room was really good value for money and huge! We stayed with my two children and we had so much room.

Overall great hotel and I'm sure even better in the summer months

Unfortunately an event was being held at hotel and therefore unable to eat in the restaurant after 7pm.

The breakfast was very good offering a variety of options and very well presented.
