The staff were very nice and helpful. When we arrived, the staff were at the front to welcome us, when we left, they were at the entrance to say goodbye. That was a very warm and nice gesture. The hotel also allowed us to wash up in our room after we checked out because there wasn't a booking for the room the next day. The interior design was very nice, a lot of wood was used which have us the feeling like we are back with nature. The location was perfect, right along Long Beach.

Just a suggestion, offering a stand-up paddleboard for guests at the beach would be nice

The place is HUGE, the room spacious and clean (cockroaches are none the less common in tropical surroundings). The bathroom was extraordinary, the bed comfy, I liked the workplace, terrace and couch. WiFi works brilliantly! The staff was always very friendly and my not as-hoc repairable toilet flush resulted in a room change. Free water refill and nice breakfast, though the portions are rather small. I was given Citronella because Long Beach obviously has Sand Flies. I didn‘t encounter them (though I used my own DEET 50% spray to go for a walk at the beach). The surrounding neighborhood is very quiet, Long Beach quite empty and beautiful. After a trip to the subterranean river couldn’t be organized without a 7 hour one way van trip, I was able to cancel the last night and was refunded, which I appreciated.

First, the communication was the worst I ever encountered in 9 Months and 23 countries of travel. Absolutely no reaction to any messages or email in advance regarding transfer, though they offer „airport transfer“. After inquiring about a day trip to the subterranean river, I was told at least four times over two days span that they would get back to me, which never happened. I walked up to the front desk several times, only to be told that I shouldn‘t (need not) do that. But I would never have known the results of my inquiry otherwise. The pool was closed 2 days of my 4 day stay because of major cleaning, unfortunately the brackish green water was not very appealing afterward anyhow. After changing the room (the toilet flush in the first room couldn‘t be repaired) I got a different room, where the flooring was completely ruined by a water influx some time in the past (big gaps between the floor boards), but at least that makes no strange sounds in the middle of the night. On my last day, someone started maintenance or something the like at 6 in the morning by hammering loudly on something. I appreciated the opportunity to cut my stay short. All in all the condition of the place makes it rather overpriced in my opinion.

staff, people is probably the domain of the philippines. Everyone smiling and helpful. We received a room upgrade for free because there were few guests in the hotel, which is another plus! The hotel prepared us sandwiches for the trip which was a pleasant surprise. And the sandwiches were very tasty.

Very friendly and cheered up owner (Maria) and staff, beautiful stretch of beach and sea turtle protecting farm, excellent cuisine!

The Wifi disconnected pretty often

I just want to say one word : PERFECT !! It was our first stop and we already miss it !! The hotel is calm and peaceful, the staff is so nice, the food is amazing and homemade, the beach and the pool are beautiful. The owner always give us advice and helps us when we needed it. If you are looking for an hotel in San Vicente, this is the one ! PS : They do an amazing job by saving turtles eggs, keeping them safe until the baby turtles were born and if you are lucky like we were, maybe you will see the release of baby turtles to the sea
