This was our first time in a Villa in Gran Canaria but it won’t be our last ! From start to finish the experience was flawless. The hostess was lovely and very quick to reply to any questions we sent. There was only two of us so a property for 5 people was more than ample and it allowed us to use one bedroom to store our clothes in - we were lucky! Though I must say there was plenty of storage space in each room regardless. The property is in a quiet location with no disturbance or noise. The villa is gated and we felt very secure - indeed so secure we slept outside under the stars on a couple of nights. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate in a few nights. We did our shopping at Faro2 supermarket which is a 5 minute walk. The lovely bbq area in the villa meant we could eat in the garden on a number of occasions – again this was superb! On other occasions we went to the Yumbo Centre and on the second last day we even walked there - it is not as far as we thought. One night we got a taxi to Melenoras for a lovely meal in a restaurant with sea views. Melenoras is a beautiful spot, not to be missed ! There was a washing machine and dryer which meant that we had fresh clean towels every morning, this was so refreshing. The bed was comfortable on the nights we slept inside  and with the en-suite this was a great bonus. This year we did not go to the beach, we did not feel we wanted to! We had 7 lovely days lying by our own pool and doing nothing but relaxing; sipping wine and listening to music - a very indulgent holiday indeed. We did notice a bicycle hire shop if you wanted to explore the island on bikes and the villa whilst very quiet was less than a minute walk from a main road that seemed to be well serviced by numerous buses ! Well done Inma for being a super host !

There was no English TV channel but why go on holiday to stay in and watch the TV :-) ?

The property was perfect for a family wanting to spend time together. With a small pool, BBQ area and sun beds.

The property was a little far out to walk anywhere without the teenage children moaning that is. Approximately 40 mins walk to either the beach or into the town. Taxis were the cheapest option approximately €4 for four of us. There was a local spa approximately 10mins walk away
