The apartment was clean and very quiet. It was also in a great location, 2 minutes walk to the duomo.

There was nothing to dislike.

The owner came out, late at night, to meet us because it was difficult for us to find the parking lot and we were exhausted from traveling. She couldn’t have been nicer. The property was well located, steps away from the Cathedral. The place was clean, quiet and well furnished.

We can’t think of any improvements.

Location/apartment is wonderful. Owner gave excellent instruction on how to get to the property by public transportation and it is super easy!

This charming accommodation was clean, well situated, and stocked with all necessary kitchen items.  The host and property manager were extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend accommodation! 

Location was outstanding. Bed comfortable, living area open and inviting, quiet apartment with a partial view of the Duomo. Communal laundry not an issue and glad to be able to wash clothes.

This apartment was very well furnished, comfortable, quiet and very close to everything you want to see. The bed was very comfortable and the views were beautiful. We really appreciate being able to use the washing machine after 1.5 weeks of travel.

First stayed here in 2019 and liked it so much that it was the only place we considered when we returned for a short stay in August '22. Everything you need is here, and the apartment is just a few steps from the remarkably beautiful Duomo (which you can see from the living area and bathroom). Two large bottles of water were waiting for us in the fridge - very welcome after a long journey on a hot day!

The apartment is wonderfully located, just steps down an old, picturesque vicolo — a small paved walkway — from the breath-taking Duomo. While the apartment is located in one of Orvieto’s charming old buildings, inside it was spacious, with modern furnishings, and everything I needed was provided. Valerie and her people were wonderfully responsive any time I had a question about the property and also tried to help me arrange a day trip on my own. Orvieto is a gorgeous little hilltop city, one of my favorites in Italy. It is full of discoveries as you walk along the ancient small streets, offering gorgeous views of the city’s old walls and the beautiful landscape below. One hint: take the Linea C bus for the entire route around the city, up and down the tiny city streets. It is more thrilling than a ride at Disneyland!

These do not qualify as ‘dislikes,’ but are things to know ahead: You can clearly hear conversations of people walking or working outside while you are in the apartment because sound bounces off the historic exterior stone walls and walkways. Also, inside the apartment there are four small steps between the bedroom and the bathroom, in case you have any mobility concerns.
