Fantastic sized house. Really stylish and great layout. Quiet location. Will consider coming back for future stays.

It was very clean and comfy with a back yard secure for dogs and kids. Everything is there that you need for a relaxing stay.

Wet weather and lawn surrounded the house which made it a bit muddy. Ants in the kitchen.

closer to shops but able to drive there in less than 5 mins so it was ok /kitchen cupboard drawers difficult to open with arthritic fingers

After my previous review - I feel the need to update. We left the property in more than fair condition (cleaned the stove top & sink etc., swept the floor). We did not hear from the owner after our departure. When our bond ($600) was not returned after six days, I enquired. $75 was reasonably withheld for an additional person, however the owner claimed there were pencil marks on walls and black marks on doors and she was keeping the REMAINING $525 bond for additional cleaning fees. I pressed the owner and she did not provided any photos or evidence of the "damage" (we do not have small children so not sure who drew on the walls?). When I made a complaint to booking.com, the owner still did not provide evidence, however returned the bond less $80 for cleaning fees (amazing that the other $445 was suddenly not required?). I am still not satisfied that any damage was caused by us and the owner has still not provided any evidence. Such a shame because it's a lovely home but this has marred our experience. Beware. We were booked for five nights for five people. Only had six towels total, no beach towels & only two tea towels. Linen supply just not enough.

It was a very comfortable and clean house with a tranquil back yard. So good for the dogs. Lovely and secure with two fur friends at the house behind to chat with at the fence.

It just needs wine glasses- perhaps we were looking in the wrong places but only found two odd wine glasses and one sparkling wine glass.
