The owner was a friendly Japanese lady who was very helpful. She couldn't speak any English so we had to use Google translate but she was attentive and friendly. The heater was good despite it being very cold and the room kept warm well. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and the water was very hot. Though, we couldn't figure out how to make it cooler.. There were umbrellas to use and the check in/check out process was simple with lock box for the key. The location was a 2 minute walk from Mt Fuji station. Overall, I thought it was really good for the price despite some little discomforts but considering the area and the prices of the other hotels, I can live with some minor discomfort.

We stayed in the family room with 3 double decker beds but there were only 3 of us. We found the space to be quite small with 2 medium sized luggages. We could lay them flat but had to keep them closed. Not sure how people with more than 2 would do. We found that 3 people in the room was doable but any more and it'd be cramped. Also, overall the place was a little worn down eg. Sofa had stains on it, the bar stools' leather were worn out. The beds were also quite hard as they were futon beds, but the pillows were those bean ones that were quite comfortable. Lastly, beware of this, but the toilet is actually outside. As in you have the kitchen area, the bed area, the shower, then right at the end is a door that leads to the back of the building and then a few steps to the left is the toilet. So if you're not a fan of having to walk out in the cold from the comfort of your room, you've been warned. However, I was travelling with my mum who complained about it at first but she got used to it. And it really helps that the bidet seat is VERY warm.

The toilet for the first floor is outside the house. It would be better if the toilet was inside the house.

とても安いのにとても施設が綺麗でした！ 広いし電気毛布などもあるし、お値段以上でした！ 駅からもすぐそこだし、近くに居酒屋もあってよかったです。駐車場もタダで目の前ですし！ オーナーの方がとっても親切で、 電気の付け方がわからない時、夜中なのに優しく教えてくださいました！

La ubicación es excelente, a 3 minutos caminando de la estación Mt. Fuji, que es prácticamente donde te dejan todos los autobuses que vienen de Tokio. El alojamiento muy limpio y espacioso. La señora mayor que lo regenta es super amable, nos regaló mandarinas de su huerto y una postal del Monte Fuji cuando nos fuimos. Repetiría sin duda.

The room is very spacious , with living room and kitchen area .

The room is located on 2nd floor with no lift .If have large luggage might be stressful to carry it up the stairs . The owner cannot communicate in English , so might need to use a google translator .

The property is just located within walking distance from Mt Fuji Station. There is a car rental shop located nearby too if you which to rent a car (with red logo but I can't recall the name). Located at quite neighbourhood and room was spacious for just 2!

Check in was a bit confusing but luckily the owner walked out and asked us. If you can't find where to check in, you can go to the first restaurant at same row (next to sushi restaurant). No card accepted and only cash.

The host was a very very friendly madame which translated everything that was needed for a conversation on her phone. It is 1 Minute walking from the bus station. Air conditioner are also in the rooms. You have a perfect view over Mount Fuji! & the best of all: a full automated toilette that is lighted and even flush on its own! Pretty spectacular I have to admit 🙌🏽

The bathroom curtain had a little muld & the floor grounds were a little bit old but all the over things were very good!

We had the downstairs room with 6 bed. It's spacious.

You have to go outside (via the back door) to access the restroom. Anyone could have used the restroom from the parking lot outside. You don't want to go out 3 a.m. in the morning...

Excellent location only a minute’s walk away from the train/bus station. View of Mt. Fuji out the windows. Very spacious: two 6-mat rooms. Could easily accommodate four or more people. Nice big refrigerator, a microwave and eating utensils. Comfortable futon, with a blanket and a comforter so it was plenty warm. Good large waste bins, helpfully marked for burnable and non-burnable trash. Sengen Shrine and the Chureito Pagoda both within walking distance as well as a Book-Off with the best selection of manga I’ve seen. Delightful host.

The downstairs apartment was open to mine (an open stairwell with a locked door at the top) so it was a bit noisy. Closing the sliding door helped somewhat. Also, the main street is right outside, so I recommend earplugs for sleeping.

Good place to stay a night without spending a fortune but not very comfortable for longer stays. Bunk beds, so you can fit many people but not a lot of space for anything else. The beds were also quite hard. Toilet was private but outside the room. Also the payment was cash only.

Very Basic, but traditional. we loved it!

First time in Japanese-style accommodation. LOVED the futon and tatami mats. 2x heat pumps, so living area very cosy (visited in spring).

Accommodation is low-budget, but exceeded my expectations (I loved the futon! 😅❤️❤️). Kitchen facilities limited to kettle, cups, plates, cutlery and fridge; if needed, bring a bowl.
