Location was right on the beach which is why I booked it. It was close to a cafe and the park had a food van which was handy.
The (motel) room was quite cramped while the bathroom was spacious. There were chairs on the porch but it was not an inviting area to sit , which I would have liked to do seeing as the room was small and to take advantage of the sea breezes. The pillows were rock hard so if I came again I’d bring my own plus there weren’t enough, only 3 between 2 people. The bathroom while being newish and very clean had no toilet roll holder nor any clothing hooks, the sort of thing you would take for granted. As they are upgrading maybe there are plans to install them in future . It’s just a bit icky to have to handle the toilet roll and to place your clothes on the floor while showering

The cabin we had was new and clean and large. the kitchen and bathroom were nicer than the ones I have at home. I loved that we had our own private yard with child safe gate and fence. The cabin exceeded expectations.
The playground was small, faded and too hot for the kids to use. It had no sun shades and was in direct sun. There wasn’t a lot for the kids to do besides a jumping pillow that was always crowded with bigger unsupervised kids. Luckily the park is right next to the jetty and the splash park.

spacious villa with a beautiful view, the park is full of life and energy!!!
The staff are wonderful and helpful especially with our late arrival. Very happy to see no greasy hand prints covering the walls like a lot of other places have!
they have coffee pods which is a must have! Clear instructions on getting to villa which was helpful. Plenty to do and amenities located all around the park!!!
Massive TV was a nice bonus!

The shower was the best that we have had. So invigorating. Plenty of room. Comfortable lounge.
The sheets were more suitable for Summer. Very cold cotton.

Location was great close to beach. The facilities are good for kids with jumping pillow, playground and beach close by.
Cabins are close together, little privacy to open window blinds or sit on balcony in peace without people walking past and hearing conversationsfrom next door, people looking in windows. Lots of cars driving past all day. People washing babies in communal kitchen sink.

Would have been a great spot but disappointed as we weren't notified of the construction work going on, and the water park was off for maintenance

We have stayed on several occasions in the Holiday park and found the park to be the go to place, being next to the bay.
Every time we think of Moonta our first thoughts are of the Holiday Park.
A great place to enjoy some relaxation, visit family members or sight seeing.
I would highly recommend Moonta Bay Holiday Park.
The Executive cabin ( 16 ) was over priced.

Fantastic location. We had a great view from our upper level cabin and were far enough away to not be bothered by the water park.
The cabin was a bit tired, but well set up and clean.

The park was clean and tidy and so was the cabin.
The poor overall state of the cabin such as dripping showers and taps (kitchen, hand basin and shower). The air conditioner was off and we discovered that our pillows were wet as a result of water dripping from it onto the pillow.

The state of the cabins was very poor for the price we were charged. There was mould in the main bedroom space due to lots of water damage and mould in the bathrooms.

I liked the location. I liked the easy access to the beach. The scenery was nice. I liked seeing what was available at the park and around the park. I liked how close the park is to the surroundings (jetty, surrounding towns).
The layout of the park was kind of strange. The cabin I stayed in was very outdated and the utensils and pots and pans were all just a bit dirty. The plastic flipper was burnt and difficult to use as plastic was falling into our meal, and the non-stick was peeling off the pot into our food as well. Just felt a bit dirty the whole time.

Cabin need updating. Would of been better to eventually get new cabins instead of putting new kitchen it.
Walls moved when winding - too much dust gets inside
Because their was no one doing a daily clean:
No rubbish collection from our room
Not enough toilet paper for our stay
No cleaning products in the cabin to keep place tidy
No air freshener for the bathroom
No clean towels everyday
The rate per night is ridiculous for the tiny outdated cabins. I recommend anyone going should take their own caravans.
