Clean, comfortable, friendly flexible owner, excellent location and cool when we arrived (hot day on arrival, lovely to come into a cool place), tim tams a nice touch too.

I loved everything! I even tried to convince hubby we should stay an extra night. There were many small touches that made this place exceptional .. biscuits, nail polish remover, soap and shampoos, washing machine (which was such a lovely surprise) All of the tourists info, full cream "real" milk, bug spray, full kitchen etc... I loved and appreciated all the extras!

The decor was beautiful, so carefully decorated to make it feel just like home! Loved the comfy lounges and beds. Generously sized bedrooms. The washing machine, laundry detergent, clothesline and pegs were very handy! Well equipped compact kitchen. Air con in living area and portable fans in bedrooms made it comfy to relax and sleep. Loved the little extras such as milk in the fridge, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom etc. Books & magazines as well as tourist information. Plenty of pillows, extra linen. Loved all of the beautiful indoor plants too! A BBQ and coffee pod machine would be handy but not essential.

Everything, although not modern it was a very spacious comfortable accomodation. We loved all the special little things like oil, s&p and Tim tam biscuits, band aids, cotton buds etc. Lovely linen and washing machine. Location is great 100 metres from Chateau Tanunda.

We are doing a big family road trip across 3 states and this has by far been the loveliest place we’ve stayed! The sign on the street displays ‘Basedow Budget Units’ but there is absolutely nothing budget about this place other than the price! Spacious, comfortable and with many special touches and extras, the entire unit was very homey and a delight to stay in. The kitchen is well stocked with gourmet teas, coffees, and cooking essentials such as oil and condiments. There are thoughtful extras in the bathroom such as toothpaste and care package of makeup pads, bandages & ear buds. Ample books and magazines, even boardgames & cards, internet TV - there was even a pack of Tim Tams awaiting our arrival which was a big hit for the kids! a laundry and a courtyard to actually dry clothes effectively was also very handy!

practically nothing! the only ‘fault’ was bathroom door was unable to lock.

The place had a lot of nice touches. E.g. filtered coffee, Tim tams, bathroom accessories etc. Excellent communication. Would be idea for a longer stay as it was spacious and comfortable.

Nothing to dislike. Your first impression from the outside might lead you to believe that this place was nothing special until you go inside and you are very pleasantly surprised.

It was very homely, and a lot of thought has gone into what is included in the stay, right down to the pink floral scissors. Loved it all!

Wonderful attention to detail in a tastefully decorated unit. It was spacious and spotlessly clean. To arrive to the splitsystem heating on, the bedside lamps on and background music playing on the TV, oh and nearly forgot, a packet of chocolate biscuits on the table for supper. Phone and message contact with Louise was fabulous and updates were welcome. I am sure it is the best setting in Tanunda given the proximity to everything.

Louise runs a very welcoming and warm property with extra touches like a phone call to say that the heater and lights will be on. Everything you need is there. Made for a very pleasant stay.

Very comfortable self contained unit. Old design/concept, but freshly refurbished to make it comfortable and looking very good. Quiet location at walking distance (10min) to restaurant and bars

Bathroom design is old style with a layout that could be revisited during renovation. The sink with no mirror (because under the window) is not that practical.
