This apartment is one of the best we've ever stayed in. We loved the view of Roque Bentayga from the balcony, the location in the centre of the quiet town of Tajeda, next to a supermarket and less than a minute's walk from the restaurants and bakeries. Antonio and Andrea were wonderful hosts, giving great tips about places to see and places to eat. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the beds we're comfy and the shower is a good one. We highly recommend Apartamentos el Motor.

Great apartment! Wonderful, generous and very friendly hosts! Fantastic location for hiking. Wonderful view from the balcony. This is absolutely the best stay in the area! The apartments (I was lucky to stay in both!) will not have you miss a single thing. The hosts are have equipped them with everything you need. Even the things you forgot to bring from home! And again - the view! In Tejeda you have access to good restaurants, a grocery store, great 'Dulcerias' and a Pharmacy. In hotels in the area you will be very locked down in the evenings - in Tejeda you can get out and enjoy! I had a day with clouds and wind in Tejeda. Then I just needed to take the car approx. 30 minutes south and experience 25 degrees and sun again. The hikes around Tejeda are beautiful and well maintained. I will absolutely be back to visit Antonio's and Andrea's apartments - and I will recommend Apartementos el Motor to all my friends!

The apartment is very lovely and cosy! It’s also very clean, and has a balcony with an amazing view. It is equipped with everything you need, with lots of unexpected lovely and useful extras (2 bottles of water and a delicious red wine, hiking poles, lots of information on hiking routes …). Andrea and Antonio are the loveliest hosts you can imagine and put every effort into making my stay a great one. Muchas gracias!

The location was perfect. We had planned to do lots of walking in the mountains and there were plenty of good walks only a short drive away or even within walking distance. Our hosts Antonio and Andrea couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us.

Wonderful apartment and hosts. The view from the private balcony is just as you see in the photos. A very well equipped apartment with everything you need for a 3 day stay. Close to bus stop, restaurants and supermarkets in the main square, below the apartment and fabulous walks from the door. The apartment really lived up to our expectations, really well equipped kitchen for self caterers - would definitely recommend this lovely place and exceptional hosts.

The apartment was perfect. Spacious, bright and very clean, had everything provided including extra towels and bed linen. The view from the sunny balcony was breathtaking. Location of the apartment is perfect for hiking, biking and trail running. There are many routes of varying difficulty nearby. Antonio and Andrea are wonderful hosts, exceptionally friendly, helpful and cheerful. Thank you Andrea and Antonio for a wonderful stay in beautiful Tejeda:)

Exceptionally friendly, helpful and cheerful hosts. Spacious, bright and clean apartment. Comfy bed, well furnished. Cute balcony overlooking the mountains. Location of the apartment is perfect for hiking, eating, shopping or just chilling on a bench. Everything was spotless. If ever coming back to Tejede will stay here again.

Antonio and Andrea were perfect hosts, very genuine and kind. Their apartment was perfect for my needs and had everything provided. The view from the sunny balcony was breathtaking. I had a great stay and very much hope that I'll be able to return soon.

Antonio and Andrea were exceptional hosts. Their beautiful, centrally located apartment had everything you could wish for and more. I was particularly pleased that they had walking poles available to borrow and umbrellas should they be required. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the beds extremely comfortable. There was a lovely terrace looking out over the valley dominated by Roque Bentayga where you can watch the sun go down of an evening.

Nothing to dislike it was one of the best places we have stayed on the island.

The owners are very kind, they make you feel like family. The place is beautiful and super clean (I probably never stayed in cleaner place). The view from the balcony is exceptional. The beds were really comfy, there was even the ergonomic pillow, sheets smelled like home. There is a small first aid kit in the bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed. We would stay even longer or definitely come back when in GC/Tejeda. The photos don't really do the justice to this place, it was so much nicer.

The location is perfect and with a nice view over the valley of Tejeda, right next to some cafes and a spar. Super clean apartment with everything you need.

A comfortable little apartment in a good location with an exceptional view. Hosts are very friendly and do their best to make you feel at home - even though they only spoke Spanish, we managed to muddle through.

It was quite cold, so we needed to turn on the heater at night, which was loud when it started up every 30mins or so.

The best place to stay in the entire island! The view is breathtaking and the apartment is the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed. The hosts are extremely nice and take the safety during pandemic very seriously. The kitchen is well equipped, as well as the rest of the apartment. There is free parking 100m from the apartment, grocery store next door and the most delicious Dulcerias also next door. Many different gorgeous hikes directly from the town, and more close by (10mjn drive). We highly recommend this place!

The hosts are extremely gracious and the apartment was spotless. We had to find a health centre on arrival and the hosts gave us clear directions on where to go and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They were really welcoming and friendly.

This is a very minor thing and very subjective, but the lightbulbs in the lamps in the living room give off quite cold blue light - yellow light would be cosier.
