Une attitude très directive de notre hôte. Un environnement proche de la chambre un peu décevant La literie vieillotte.

Het ontbijt was prima, eigenlijk te veel. Mark en Ben zijn goede gastheren.

Volgens mij werd er niet stofgezogen tijdens mijn verblijf van 14 dagen. Zag aan het eind van mijn verblijf behoorlijk wat stof/ haren(van mijzelf) op de grond liggen,

Have stayed here before when travelling solo and lived it so much I wanted to come back with family. It was just as wonderful! Mark and Ben made it; interesting, fun, funny and very hospitable

I cannot fault the hosts or the property itself which is clean and full of french, rustic charm. Ben and Mark provided magnificent hospitality - friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely breakfast too. They gave great recommendations of what to do and where to eat - all of which we did which proved great advice. They called a taxi for us to take us to where we needed to be at the end of our stay, even waiting with us to wave us off. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is perfect (except for noisy overnight locals). It is close to a lift taking you directly to the old town parts of the town. Bezier is clearly doing lots of things really well for tourists so it should be well within the capacity of the local authority to sort out the behaviours of a few locals, not observing local law with regard to noise, who are not representative of all other people in Beziers who looked after us so well.

It is with a heavy heart that we scored so low. This is due to a matter completely out of the control of Ben and Mark - a group of locals who gathered next to the river until 3 or 4 am being noisy, having a party with no regard to anyone wanting some quiet. There will have been many other properties affected and we understand that this is happening most nights. A police drive by or other authority profile raising would be a quick fix for this which I hope will occur very soon as we would love to come back and visit - and stay at Maison De L'Orb - but not if we can't sleep!

The location beside the river in Beziers was great and it was very easy to walk into town via the cathedral precincts. Our hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. Varied breakfast .

The rooms were a little cramped and the decor was jaded, although matched the charm of the property. There were several flights of stairs which led to the bedrooms.

Lovely little stay here, has a homely vibe. It wasn't too hot at night with the fan on, and cold water was readily available from Mark & Ben :) Good location also.
