Alberto and Simona were very welcoming and accommodating. Lovely spacious room. Clean and tidy. Tea/coffee making/lounge area outside bedroom. Good continental breakfast with the added bonus of homemade cake and jam. House is set in a well-kept spacious garden and it was lovely having tea, coffee and cake on arrival sitting outside on the patio. Only a 5 min walk to catch the bus to Rouen with a regular bus service so we didn't need to try to drive in and find parking.

No restaurant within walking distance of the accommodation and the nearest restaurant we could find open (we arrived on a Monday) was pretty mediocre. In hindsight, it would have been better to have booked an evening meal for our first night with the hosts as all the reviews say their food is delicious!

Nothing to dislike

Comfy king sized bed set in a large roomwith excellent en suite and powerful shower. The evening meal was of Italian influence and delicious. Ample continental breakfast with cereal was made available.

Perfect stopover for me on my way from southern France to the ferry at Calais. The accommodation is exceptionally clean and comfortable and the communal meals were delightful. Alberto and Simona were wonderful hosts, very welcoming, friendly and caring. Thank you.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful experience and a memorable stay at this property. Our lovely host couple, Alberto and Simona were so helpful and pleasant to communicate with from the beginning of our reservation. We had a fantastic 3 nights over the Christmas break. Our dinners were home cooked Italian meal and served with great wine. It was so nice that we didn't have to go into town for dinner. We had a great time in their cozy home and parking was a big bonus. It is in a quiet neighborhood and bus stop is in within walking distance. We felt welcomed and they went above and beyond to take care of their guests.

Simone and her husband were wonderful hosts, they even let us charge our electric car. There was a seating area outside the bedroom with tea or coffee making available, where you could just chill or watch TV if you understood French. Good WiFi connection. This was the only place on our 5 night stops throughout Spain and France that had cereal. They also got plant milk for us.

For me the bed was OK not for my wife it was too firm as she has back problems.

Alberto and Simona were excellent hosts. They welcomed us into their lovely home at a late hour without any problem. Their top quality residence offered us our own mini apartment. The dinner was superb and nicely presented. The bed was very comfortable with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast was on time, fresh and a good variety. We were treated very well indeed. They spoke very good English, French and Italian. We wish we could have needed to stay longer it was so nice a place.

Everything was great

Big comfortable room in a lovely home with perfect hosts. Communication was excellent too, especially as we have dietary requirements and they were catered for. Dinner was shared with a French couple who had limited English and along with our limited French and Italian hosts speaking both languages we had a lovely evening, food and company. Equally the breakfast was more than enough for our onward journey south.

Warm welcome from our hosts to their spacious home. Secure parking behind electronic gates. Good advice for visiting Rouen. Large bathroom with good shower.

Limited choice for breakfast.

Just at the moment when we arrived, the apartment owner exit to meet us, say "hello", to show where to park the car etc ... We really likes the rooms style, cleanness, facilities, breakfast. The most important thing: the owners all the time are there to help you . Sure if you need any advice before or at the time of staying. Or you just arrived in the rainy day and they will be glad to prepare you cup of tea/coffee to warm you a bit :-)

The accommodations was easy to find, under cover parking was good. Alberto and Simone we perfect hosts. Dinner was very good and tasty.

Unfortunately the breakfast was not enough really for one person. That was the only minus sorry.

We would rate Alberto and Simona’s home as outstanding. The location is great being in a quiet suburb of Rouen with very easy access from the A28. On arrival we were greeted warmly and offered a drink to enjoy in their tranquil garden. Our ground level room was spacious and immaculately clean. We’d opted to have an evening meal there and this was prepared by Alberto and Simona. The Italian courses we ate were really great and Alberto explained their preparation to us. His homemade drinks were also appreciated. The inclusive Continental breakfast, which included homemade cake and jams, was equally enjoyed by us. Lovely hosts, lovely property which we would have no hesitation in recommending and would certainly book again if in this area.

Couldn’t walk to any restaurant...didn’t know that had to order food before arrival.

It is well located, we were back on the A28 in less than 5 minutes the next day. Breakfast was lovely with homemade cake and jams, delicious coffee and hot chocolate and fresh bread. The very friendly hosts also offered the option of cheese and ham. Our room and the ensuite bathroom were gorgeous and big. The house, veranda and garden are simply beautiful. We arrived a bit late in the evening and contacted the property about this to arrange access. The hosts were very forthcoming and accommodating. We would stay again! Loved it.
