Carla, che gestisce la guest house, è una persona splendida poliedrica e davvero molto interessante. La location è ottima a poca distanza dalle più belle spiagge. In particolare quelle di Frenchman's cove, Winnifred e Boston beach sono in assoluto le migliori. Grazie alle mille preziose informazioni che Carla ha fornito la mia esperienza a Portland si può definire indimenticabile e da sogno. Il tour alle cascate di Reach falls è qualcosa di indescrivibile così come la passeggiata di mezza giornata nel parco di Rio Grande con una guida esperta anche di piante. La mia camera dava sul giardino e sul mare. Di una quiete che mi mancherà. Il bagnetto è modesto ma non gli manca niente. L' acqua è calda ogni volta che lo si desidera. La WiFi è stabile e funzionante. E opzionalmente si può avere la colazione (a 9 dollari e non a 7 come specificato sul sito) che io ho sempre fatto perché abbondante, buonissima e con prodotti freschi e di qualità. Io ho opzionato anche di cenare in struttura. Il cuoco ha una qualità innata e i pasti possono essere scelti tra diverse soluzioni a prezzi decisamente adeguati. If you are looking for a place to calm down and enjoy nature, Drappers is the place. Fall asleep while hearing the waves from the Sea and not that far from beautiful beaches like Winifred or Frenchmans Cove. Carlota and her team were really helpful and helped us organise excursion/transportation on short notice. Make sure to have dinner or breakfast while staying there. TJ will make you a wonderful and delicious meal. Big up and blessing to the whole Drappers team. Felt like home and not a guest house.

- wifi was sometimes spotty - the room door with its key - several times the toilet didn't stopped flushing - the kitchen wasn't well equipped

Tolle, herzliche Mitarbeiter inkl. der Eigentümerin selbst, Gelegenheit zum Wäsche selbst waschen, Küche zur Zubereitung eigener Speisen, das geteilte Badezimmer wurde ständig ordentlich geputzt und durch die passierenden Regular-Taxis kommt man ohne großen Warteaufwand ins Zentrum von Porti als auch zu den Traumstraenden in Portland. Blue Lagoon und Frenchman’s Cove sind auf Wunsch fusslaeufig erreichbar sowie auch ein Restaurant in einer Bar und ein Supermarkt am Ortseingang. Wenn ich wieder in Portland bin werde ich hier wieder übernachten/wohnen. Danke Carla, TJ, Verona, Omar. Blessings! 🙏🏽

Accommodation and the hosts were superb. Both exceeded our expectations.

The location was a good bit away from everything, however Phil our host was fab and picked us up and dropped us where we wanted to go at no extra charge. He even introduced us to sites n beach we didn't know about.

Carla and Francesca are so passionate about Portland and preserving its beauty for the community. It was an absolute pleasure to speak with them on these issues and what they've been doing to support. Oh, and the guesthouse is also great! Luscious garden, clean and quiet rooms, delicious homemade breakfast, and a perfect snorkelling beach next door. The room rate is also great value for Portland. Highly recommended, will definitely come again!

Karla, the owner, is the kindest person, super helpful and accommodating. The cottage has a small living room which is very nice to hang out in the evening. The breakfast could be prepared on short notice and was super tasty.

The accommodation was pretty and in a beautiful location, Carla was so kind in helping us find our way around! We had a great weekend, thanks!
