Absolutely best place I’ve stayed in. Met the host and he was so wonderful. The room was beautiful and so clean. Plenty of tea and coffee and biscuits. This is definitely top of my list for another stay next year

Property is in a good location, really easy to access, clean and the room looks nice and welcoming. Would stay again but would want a different room.

The bathroom is too small and cramped - the door has been cut in half and put on hinges, which whilst a clever design means awkward to shut and navigate around at night whilst not trying to wake your partner and left me with bruises on arms / legs. Car parking and having to move your car two / three times a day is a bit of a pain.

Lovely clean building. Room adequately apportioned

The bedhead was immediately below a solid beam, which could gave been dangerous.

The family room was big enough for a family of four and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated that there were some basic refreshments laid out downstairs and in our room.

It's a great pity that you don't offer breakfast and we were disappointed that there were so few choices for an evening meal suitable for children in the local area.

This place was lovely, spotlessly clean, the room was really well equipt and comfortable. I slept really well! Craig and the staff were wonderfully warm and welcoming they were happy to store my luggage for me on my last day and super friendly and helpful throughout. Great location for exploring the town and close to the cafes and restaurants.

The room was spacious,super clean and had everything we needed and more. The tassimo and free snacks in the communal lounge was a brilliant. The owner Craig, it a fantastic host, very chatty, giving my 2 girls a gift each and nothing is too much trouble. Lisa does an amazing job as well! Location is great! I've stopped in my fair share of guest houses and this is definitely one near the top of the list!

There is nothing I did not like.

Fabulous rooms in a really lovely property. Welcoming staff and good communication before our arrival so we were able to store our bikes safely inside. The residents lounge with hot drinks and a range of biscuit snacks is a nice touch. Although breakfast is not provided on site the recommendation of Thistle Do Nicely for breakfast proved to be spot on. If you remember to mention it (we forgot) you can even get 10% discount. Though frankly the breakfast is such a good deal you don’t really need 10% off. Craig and Innes(?) were excellent hosts and ensured we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Would definitely choose PSGR again.

The stairs, too, the 2nd floor, weren't ideal, but I understand that can't be helped. The rooms were very warm, and the feather bedding didn't help. Perhaps providing a fan for the room would be a good idea.

Easy to find, easy to park, excellent communication, straight forward to get in. Bedroom was brilliant, extremely clean, loved the bath and the shower. Bed was the comfiest we've stayed in. We took porridge for the morning but there is a coffee machine, orange juice and breakfast bars downstairs. Aswell as kettle, tea coffee etc in the room. With water in the fridge. Its 200 yards max to pubs. We actually stayed to go to The Maltings and there is a cut near the bank at the bottom of Street.

Slightly noisy flooring when people are walking above but wouldn't put us off returning.

Excellent accommodation and service. Particularly liked the use of a lounge with tea coffee facilities and the use of a table for eating or socialising.

Parking took a bit of organising but was free for 3 hours at a time. If we had arrived later it wouldn’t have been a problem. A bit of prior knowledge would have helped us organise ourselves.
