We enjoyed the peaceful location of this converted mill, and the friendliness of our host Jean Michel. The continental breakfast was very good, served in a room with walls adorned with photographs from various old movies. The picturesque fishing port of Pornic, with several nice restaurants, is just a short drive away, as are several nice beaches.

Nothing much to complain about really, this charming guest house ticked pretty much every box we needed it to.

The owner was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good.

The shower was a glass cabin inside the room, which created a bit of bad order. Also, the sink was so small that we couldn’t actually wash. Your face is in it and it was also inside the room.

The host, Jean-Michel is really nice and always in a good mood. His dog, Garou, a Border Collie, is there to greet you and play. This dog is soooo nice. The breakfast was truly yummy. Homemade jams, fruits, many kinds of bread, crèpes, cheese, name it. All you could need in the rooms, many personal touches here and there. We recommend highly.

The host was very friendly and welcoming and proudly showed us round the renovated mill. We really appreciated the ample parking space and the separate entrance and private terrace. The room itself was clean and the bathroom and toilet both ensuite but separate which was very convenient. It was a very quiet place but still close to the beaches, which is exactly what we wanted. Breakfast was very good, with homemade jams and fresh fruit. The dog was very sweet, but I would recommend the place even if you don't really care for dogs.

It was a bit damp when we stayed there, but that could have been due to the weather.

The owner was very welcoming, helpful and very kind. He made us feel like at home and part of the family. Decoration was very original, bed very comfortable and huge and breakfast was really good. We would def come back.

The Moulin is very comfortable, the rooms are spacious with all requirements covered. The host is very welcoming, And a varied selection for breakfast, fruit, yoghurt breads, preserves, and wonderful Croissants.........and good coffee .......

The window door allows natural light to come in but lacks in intimacy. As there is no window in the room one has to keep the window door open to get fresh air. There was no shower gel, only shampoo.

level of cleanliness left much to be desired on entering the room there was a dirty tissue in a plastic hair grip on the bed side table a blood spot on the duvet cover many scuffs and marks on wall and under the bed was disgraceful full of fluff and dust and the room was not serviced on a day to day basis had to ask to change towel a big let down

Large and airy room with a huge comfy bed. Our room was next to a characterful old mill with on site parking and bakery adjacent. Very welcoming host and his playful dog who loves football! Enjoyable breakfast with homemade jams and great coffee. A great (and quiet) location close to the lovely town of Pornic. Wonderful beaches and St Ghilda's point within easy access

The room was spotlessly clean. with a modern look to it. Shower room was good, with separate toilet ..... Breakfast was a classic continental breakfast with croissants, fruit, yoghurts, breads, and wonderful homemade jams.....

Room, price and location were good. Service was friendly and helpful. Dog was great.

Breakfast was marginal. Day old bread, IN FRANCE!!!. and only sweet condiments. This could be much better. Bed covers were too warm without options. Shower floor was something else. Room internet was not to be found. It was do-able but not for extended stay. All is wide open for improvements with hardly any capital layout.
