Clear instructions on how to get in the apartment.
It was too late to meet someone to discuss the particulars of the flat (I rang the bell but no answer), some of which I didn't know how to use. It would have saved me having to experiment.

The welcome, the apartment was cosy, the view was amazing, the place is quiet and comfortable.
Electricity was expensive to warm the place.

8 flights of stairs to carry cases up alone awfull disrepectfull guests bullying my disabled son and lying about him not shutting the door as i was with him i know he did i suspect part of their cowardly tactics

Very handy for the beach. Close to the supermarket and other shops. On a bus route, and is also handy for the trains station.

Could have done with a couple of baking trays and an oven glove. Shower was difficult to regulate.

Fairly central location, close to the beach. Shower and appliances worked well. Bedrooms were a good size. A small amount of complimentary tea, coffee and sugar was provided
Windows all looked out onto walls, a few feet away. The lounge was tiny and the sofa upholstery was crusted with what I assume was hair grease. A very no-frills feel to the apartment as a whole (only two loo rolls provided, one tea towel, no basic supplies such as laundry detergent, cooking oil or salt).

It could have been cleaner, 2 of the saucepans were unusable as they were really stained inside on the base, the cutlery tray was full of crumbs and the grill pan and rack were greasy.Carpet in room 3 very stained.

The property is clean and well kept. This is our second time here and would have no issue coming back. Beds are comfy, shower was great, seats in the little living room were comfy, my lad is autistic and the washing machine and dryer in the apartment were really handy. The view out over Port Erin bay is brilliant, the front door is 1 min from the beach one of the best beaches anywhere.
Very little not to like, the decor I guess is a wee bit dated but more than compensated by the sea view which is breathtaking

Excellent location.
Dated, old appliances, decor and furniture. Everything over head height was dusty and cobwebs.
You have to put pound coins in the meter to get electricity.

Our second stay at Kittiwake House was as good as the first. Excellent location and spotlessly clean. It has everything we need to be comfortable and is an excellent base for our holiday.
Only small things but shower cubicle could do with an update to have a door instead of curtain, and it would be great to have the TV in the front room instead of the kitchen. Only our opinion though and wouldn’t stop us wanting to stay again!

The seaside location was excellent! My daughter was very excited! Nice big rooms, a grocery shop just around the corner, free car park on the road.
The heating! Not being used to pay as go electric meter it was a bit of a shock when electricity turned off. We had to be careful with the heating hence felt a bit cold in the evenings.

The apartments were lovely and cosy had everything you could want extra blankets we're lovely extra as we were there in January. We will be definitely booking again

It had everything you needed.
It was really cold on arrival
The heaters were not hot enough to warm the place.
Had to use the cooker to add extra heat.

Port Erin was exactly where we wanted to do many things so location was great. Owners were very helpful and friendly as is everyone else in town
Our rooms were facing the sea which meant that we got the sea breeze that was extremely cold in the winter! but it would be a brilliant view in the warmer seasons. Electricity is metered and customers would have to top up the meter if they exceed the given credit. we used it sparingly and were able to stay within the given credit but it really was very cold

very cold on arrival ( winter) and took ages to heat up & use the storage heaters
The cutlery drawer needs attention by the manager as I think previous occupants did not thoroughly clean after themselves . we only used cups & a teaspoon as used as base for visiting family very close by .
