Lovely location, quiet area

The house was just lovely, perfect location, beautiful nature, quiet, exactly what we were looking for. Kitchen was very clean, lot of equipment to use, everything working well. Comfortable living-room, spacious dining area, perfect for family of 4 and a little dog. The host were very friendly and kind. They left us a welcome champagne, fresh eggs and even sweets for the kids. What a lovely gesture!

There wasn't much to do with 2 kids. We had to travel to the neighboring towns to find some entertainment, which wasn't really a problem. There were some facilities (swimming pool, mini-golf) in Frankenau, unfortunately those have been closed for years. Unfortunately, one of the double bed collapsed during night, while we were sleeping, which was a bit burdensome. Luckily there was another unoccupied bedroom in the house, we could use for the rest of the stay. I informed the host, and she was sincere about it, felt bad and we didn't have to pay additional fees for our dog.
