EVERYTHING. DONT BOOK HERE IS A WASTE OF MONEY. PHOTOS ARE MISLEADING AND RELATE TO OTHER PROERTIES THEY HAVE. CANCEL NOW AND THANK ME LATER. THEY PROMOTE PROPERTY AS “LUXURY PENTHOUSE APARTMENT “ AND ITS NOT BY ANY MEANS. ALL THEY ARE SELLIN* IS THE VIEW. WE BOOKED FOR 4 PEOPKE AND APARTMENT WASNT EQUIPPED TO ACCOMMODATE 4 PEOPLE. YOU COULDNOT STAND UP ON MEZANINE FLOOR, DOOR IN BATHROOM DID NIT CLISE. READ OTHER REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE FROM OTHER SITES THEY ARE ACCURATE.

Right next to the ocean. Balcony and see sounds made this a great experience. Market down the road luckily was open for purchase of food, wine, and more. The hiking to Riomagiorre the next Cinque Terre village was steep and challenging but amazingly scenic. Recommend being in good shape if you go here without mass transit
Accessibility to a where I had to park was a bit of a chore (approx 1/2 Km away) along with ascending to the top floor. Not their fault but restaurants, if they're even open, are hard to get into during the low season.

The best view in the whole town, just spectacular! Very clean and comfortable. Bed is super comfortable. Bath robes and slippers provided. Little kitchenette perfect for whipping up a quick pasta dish (no knives though, so just be aware). Pretty easy/quick to get to from the train station.
These aren’t negatives at all, but just some things to be aware of if you’re coming to Cinque Terre for the first time: there are a lot of steep stairs. It is a four story climb to the top of the room. Extremely steep. There is no transportation or luggage services to the actual building itself. The other thing to be aware of is there is no reception desk or customer service for this property - I’m pretty sure this is just an AirBnB advertised on Booking.Com. The people reviewing the rude customer service is probably because their thinking it’s a hotel service, which I totally understand (the communication is pretty bad but just hang in there, the guy comes through with the goods eventually!) It’s definitely worth staying at, so don’t let this put you off, but there are some abnormalities you will not be used to if you mainly stay in hotels and major cities. I would rethink staying in Cinque Terre in general if you cannot climb stairs or are not very active.

Sunset view, capsule coffee machine, toiletries distinguished aroma, soft bathrobes
Communication of premises representative, impolite, neglecting the use of booking messenger, no welcoming amenities, the honeymoon suite was not up to expectations, no assistance offered/provided for luggage, inconvenience in reaching the premises with luggage due to the huge amount of stairs before and inside the building

Great location with sunset view
Very low/bad WiFi connection. No greetings and everything for money (water, coffee).
Aircon split on the balcony so hot air blowing while you want to enjoy the outdoor. But no way to switch it off as it is shared with other apartment.
Stairs to get to 4th floor but you get used to it in cinque terre !-)

Incredible location, breakfast was a feast, room was clean, nice and modern. Wifi and smart TV worked well as did the AC
Nothing really - stairs up aren't the easiest, but worth it once you get to the top.

Clean and good location but definitely not worth the price. Disappointed

The accommodation was fabulous. We had to climb
55 stairs with a suitcase but it was so worth it . The view from the balcony was amazing, we could see all the boats coming and going as well as the spectacular view of Riomaggiore. We loved the set up and decor of the inside. Having beach towels slippers and robes was a bonus . It was extremely quiet.

the location! the view at sunset! it’s amazing!!
no contact with an actual
person. extremely difficult to get to with no explanation or service to bring luggage. we laughed our stuff in and out on a very steep hill.

We enjoyed the view. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable.
The staff communication was rude. There was no assistance with luggage. The local porter refused to assist because he won't deal with this establishment. The direction to this location was minimal and the stairs up were so difficult especially with luggage.

location and views were amazing
the apartment is a bedsit, which is fine, just very small and no lounge

it was great - great location.
Everything was great except hot plate was not working and did not get fixed while we were there - so we could not cook or heat up any food. it could have been replaced or fixed - our only option was to eat out - and restaurants weren’t open late. No discount was offered for this inconvenience.

the location was amazing and right on the harbour’s edge with stunning sea views.
unfortunately we struggled with tepid warm water. would have been manageable if it wasn’t such chilly weather. the lights kept flickering and the kitchen wasn’t very well equipped even to just have a light breakfast before heading out.

liked the location and the view is great
the narrow steep stairs to the unit!! and it’s 3-4 stories up!!

I liked everything except part of our balcony view was being covered by scaffolding tower which was very disappointing. Other than that everything was good and easy communication.

The obvious pros would be the view, the location, the interiors of the rooms. But that's about it.
Though we expected the climb since it's in Cinque Terre and it's a rooftop unit, but the stairs were horrible and hazardous. They were scattered on each floor and not uniformed, too steep and no handrail, just a makeshift rope rails at the side. Would be helpful if the property had provided contact details for the luggage service earlier on before arriving.
Faulty power outlets, maybe a good 3-4 outlets are usable, hard to share with more than 2 people. Toilet seat wobbles a lot. The kitchen doesn't have enough utensils, no knife / scissors, no extra trash bag, no kitchen towel. Worst of all they gave us smelly used sponges for the dishes, had to buy our own utensils. Stair case uses the timer lights but can't be turned on from the top floor, so you're going down blind.
The ultimate insult for us was arriving half dead to the room, drenched in sweat after dragging the luggages up the deadly stairs, to be greeted with bottled water costing €3 each. Really doesn't cost much to provide 1-2 free water for your guests after going through the trouble.

The villa is amazing! super cozy with a modern charm and simple but elegant decor, enough space to enjoy the getaway and the views are phenomenal!!! if you have any bags you will need to call or book some kind of luggage service to assist with getting bags to the Villa. it’s super steep and quite scary.
the stairs up to the Villa are super dark and there were no instructions on how to keep them on at night as it’s scary trying to climb several flights on stairs with no secure railing. the door to the Villa got closed one day and the hosts is not onsite we were finally able to get it open with the key card. a few logistics should be noted to guest before arrival such as contacts for help with luggage, instructions for lights to the stairs and notice that if you shut the brown door you cannot get it unlocked so keep it open.

Location was great, loved looking out over the ocean
Significant steep staircase to access property with somewhat questionable handrail, the property should highlight the baggage service (takes it up and down the stairs for you) in advance

the best part of the stay was the location and the balcony
We did not get the baby cot we ordered for the first night, the Wi-Fi did not work, we had stains on the sheets and was locked out from the hotel room due to electronic key malfunction.

so far this was the best room
we have gotten in Italy. we had the room shown in the photo with the lawn chair and tables. you couldn't get a better view in town. we could watch the sun rise and sun set in our bed. it was magic. we had no problem communicating with the host.
the stairs getting up were tough so pack light.

There was no breakfast .
Needed to be worked about the very steep steps getting to the room. If I didn’t have help could not have made it!

we stayed in the honeymoon suite which was amazing
the stairs are so steep and was pretty dangerous as we had big suitcases

Location is amazing!
This place is expensive but I don't mind paying for the view. What irritates me though is spending that much and then having to pay extra (a lot) for all the mini bar items including water and coffee. After a long travel day and hauling all your luggage up the stairs everyone is going to want a water or a beer. I appreciate that it's available, but having to pay twice the price as on the street below is a little much.

Amazing views and swimming was so nice and cooling in the little harbour the village is postcard pretty and lots of choices for food the tunnel straight into town made it easy
(Google maps didn’t take us that way in)
Really nice simple breaks provided but felt sorry for the lady carrying the trays to our room
So many stairs and really steep that’s just in the building we were on the top floor
I was glad I only had carry on I think there’s a service but poor people who have to do it
It’s a little difficult to find the place and hand over was also bit difficult done over a phone and the location caused the phone to drop in and out so was concerned about actually getting my room
The second bedroom is a loft and the kids kept forgetting the low ceiling and banning there head
Also the loft and lounge are one so u need to be quite if your up first

the apartment had a nice view and was nicely decorated.
The bed was uncomfortable. The stairs were very steep with only a rope as a banister.

The location is fabulous and the view from the balcony is wonderful. Right at the heart of the marina with beautiful views out to sea. Room clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast trays brought up with very nice selection of fruit and pastries. Glad to have a fridge and wine glasses for prosecco on the balcony! Good choice of restaurants, boats along the coast and train station all within easy walking distance if you don't mind steps.
These are small niggles in comparison to the joy of the location and views, but a few things worth knowing in advance. There is no reception and no staff on site other than a daily visit from the cleaners. Queries are answered on What'sApp by the concierge, who was prompt and helpful up to a point, but there are limits to what this style of accommodation offers e.g. nowhere to store luggage beyond 2pm (we found somewhere by the station). Owing to a change in our flights we ended up staying in 2 different rooms - there was more bed space for 3 of us in the Penthouse apartment; the Honeymoon suite would be lovely for 2 but was a bit cramped with the addition of a foldout camp bed, which creaks very loudly! A sofabed would be more practical, so the space could be better used in the daytime. The apartments have tiny kitchen facilities but aren't really kitted out for preparing food, e.g. there was no sharp knife and we had to ask for enough cutlery for a picnic lunch on the balcony. We were told the balcony awning could not be operated ('blocked for safety reasons') though it turned out there was a remote control to lower and raise it. Be prepared for humping your luggage up several flights of steep steps, and make sure you find the light switch for stairs!

the view. shampoo and body soap smells good and relaxing. firm mattress and pillows. aircon is cold. Stool in shower so you can sit while bathing.
communication - owner should have been upfront in description about the sheer amount of steep stairs in property and offer porter service to carry luggage up. have to pay for water and mini bar when at that price point, it should have been included.
